Back earlier than expected!

Hi to all, back sooner than I thought after a fab weekend in Cornwall visiting some family.  Glorious weather down in Cornwall which made for a special weekend.
The Pencubitt House, built in 1897, is a stunning property situated in Liskeard and is ideal for visiting the surrounding areas of South East Cornwall and Devon, close to Bodmin Moor and also the local fishing villages of Looe and Polperro.

We visited my family for a cosy evening meal in their family home near Liskeard catching up and enjoying the views of the surrounding contryside, the great weather was such contrast to my previous visit when it rained.  It was such an interesting night and was the perfect start to a wonderful weekend.

On Sunday Polperro was visited for the first time.  Wow such a picturesque little fishing village, I couldn't stop taking photos.  An array of narrow streets and alleyways, with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants adjoing the many little houses and holiday homes squeezed inbetween them. Working my way down the streets, checking out the interesting shops, showing their arts and crafts, eventually finding the harbour that was sheltered by the cliff ravine, it is a truly traditional fishing village with a mixture of colourfully painted houses, fishing boats and aptly named pubs!

Here's a couple of outfits I took with me, Non-crease items were my best option, the jeans got plenty of wear, adding different tops to change the look each day.  One dress for the evening meal in the Pencubitt Restaurant.

The beautiful pearl drop earrings I purchased last week came with me for the weekend and I wore them with this blue and turquoise maxi dress, I choose not to wear a necklace, so that my earrings stood out, I'm thinking they did just that!

Next Jeans got some wear this weekend, and here's one way I wore them.  Florence and Fred stripy long line T shirt, black and white 'Breton' style. This top had long splits up each side so I decided to wear another white T underneath, although it was a bit too hot at times, problem solved by a drink stop in a couple of the many drinking venues along the route!
Obviously visiting Cornwall, I had to partake in a Cornish Pasty, mouth-.watering to say the least.

So how was your weekend? What did you get up to? I'd love to hear from you.
Until tomorrow...Bye, Bye...X
