Bonmarche - the perfect outfit for Cornwall.

Hello and welcome back to my blog.

I'm starting to get back to normal after my breaks away to Cornwall and Spain, coming back with a positive mind filled with inspiration and some ideas for future projects.  Sometimes we need a little 'time out' to rest and re-charge our bodies & minds. What better place to do that than on the beach, laying in the sun, engulfed in a warm breeze, with aromas of the distant cooking smells of garlic and fresh seafood wafting around your nose!
I'll be featuring this perfect place in a future post and would love you to join me when I share it!

But back to today, I was recently contacted by Bonmarche with a view to showing some outfits &
after buying a few items from them during the last year, I jumped at the chance.
Bonmarche is a chain of stores both on-line and on the High Street, selling the likes of elegant dresses, separates, beachwear and lingerie along with accessories from bags and jewellery plus my favourite ... scarves.
I'm starting to sit up and take notice of this stylish company.  Looking through the web pages I basically wanted everything that my eyes saw, but today I'm sharing with you two of the four garments that came my way. Lookout for the other two pieces next week,  where I'll be sharing my Spanish 'on location shoot' outfits with you!!!😁

The outfit I chose is absolutely spot on for a break in the country, an outfit that's comfortable, warm, but not too warm, serviceable and looks great too.
These Embroidered Denim Capri Jeans* are so bloomin' comfy, with just enough stretch to fit in the right places, but give you room to breath - I hate feeling hemmed into something, and love being able to move freely when walking around on a day trip out.

I couldn't be happier with my choice of cropped jean, spotting the embroidery detail on each pocket straight away, I've wanted something embroidered for ages so I'm very happy with my choice.
Fitting up to the waist with loops for an optional belt, I didn't have one on this occasion but I do normally fit a belt when I wear jeans & trousers.
Don't you think they match the floral blouse perfectly?

I know, I know I'm not waiting for a bird of prey to land, I'm showing you these charming fluted sleeves a la John Malkovich in Dangerous Liaisons!! (Fantastic film if you've not seen it).

The second item I picked being this oh so pretty blouse*.
A soft pale blue beauty adorned with Japanese blossom sure is full of eastern promise!

Do you like the fluted sleeves? What about the oriental print, it's totally gorgeous and very feminine.
Being 100% polyester this top has a beautiful feel to it, and guess what? It doesn't crease!!  Fantastic!
The round neck floral top is flattering for many figures & can also be worn with a cardigan or jacket for cooler weather making it a wardrobe staple. I can just see a short sleeve 3/4 jacket with these huge fluted bell sleeves popping out. X
Team with white linen trousers or like I have three quarter length jeans. 

And do you like the espadrilles?  F & F coming up trumps with the gold wedge example.  I know there's also black, blue and beige options in store and on-line, there's a colour choice for every outfit!
For only £16 these sensitive sole sandals are kind to your feet and even kinder on your bank balance!

I urge you to take a look around the website or your local store, Bonmarche offer free collection in-store too & I know this is so helpful to busy ladies over fifty!
