Roman Originals -my kind of style.

Hi all, what you all up to?

Really happy to be sharing this post with you today.

I was recently contacted by Roman Originals, and I'm thrilled to be sharing these two stunning dresses with you.
You all know I'm a big fan of wearing dresses and can't get enough of them in my wardrobe.  They're so easy to wear with no stressing about what tops match with which bottoms.
Easy picking makes happy wearing!

With plenty of special events on my calendar to dress for, I know both dresses will be perfect for many of them.  I've got a wedding and a christening, along with a few birthday's in the next two months, so having these dresses will give me a stress free mind in the days before the festivities!

Lets take a look at my two super picks.

Abstract is an easy to wear look, so this leaf print jersey dress was a must for me,  this can be dressed up with white, blue or black heels and bag or for a more relaxed look flat sandals will give a casual feel.
This Jersey Dress* comes in sizes 10 to 20, I'm wearing my usual 14 and it fits like a glove, draping well over any imperfections, giving a flattering, smooth finish.   How cool are these colours together?
Abstract is almost like camouflage - great at hiding any unwanted lumps and bumps.
What about the waist detail? Isn't it charming. Gathers and pleats add that little bit of extra space we sometimes all need, but without drawing any unwanted attention.
The chic little features on each of their garments make Roman Originals stand out from the normal,  I love a bit of detail on an outfit - something that catches the eye and these outfits are no exception.

With or without a necklace -  what do you ladies think?

The dress having a slight stretch to it, so therefore has no need for a zipper or any other fastening for that matter, that's where the inner lining comes into play, allowing the dress to slip over your head and slide down your body, smooth and slinky.

Paired with my Debenhams strappy sandals, which is a perfect colour match,  I found them in the half price sale - you may remember me saying I bought four pairs that day!

'Make hay whilst sun shines' as they say, or 'Buy shoes when there's a sale on' - as I say!! Lol.

I thought these hotties would be uncomfortable because of all the straps, but they seem to be alright when taking these photos, time will tell though when I next wear them - which will probably be for the christening I'm attending next month - I'll keep you up-dated!
You can buy this for the cool price of £35, I know you'll get good value for money because this stunner will be just as edgy in Autumn worn with the ever faithful denim jacket.

My pick for the wedding I'm attending is this Light Pink Pleated Floral Print Dress.*
The shangtung fabric is a type of silk, and not only feels, but looks just super.  This dress is fully lined *thumbs up from me* and has a 'v' neckline both at the front and back.  With a full zipper at the back, the dress sits on the knee, makes for a stylish appearance.
I opted for my usual size 14 which fitted me well, but was snug on the hips,  I think it looks marvellous on, so really I could do with losing a few inches from my nether-regions to feel perfect in this dress.
You can see I chose the navy and pale pink option, but take a look at the other two choices of  Yellow for £45 & Brighter Pink for £35, you'll realise what a difficult decision it was.
So at that price you could have all three hanging in your wardrobe!

With this look I opted to match my accessories with these Blush sandals and matching clutch, see where I wore them first.   Don't they make a great addition?  Some people consider this a really faux pas, I'm quite old school, but coming round to the fact that you can mix your trimmings for an interesting finish,

Love the slight cap sleeve & the pleated detailing on the V neck.  Making way for a pearl and bling necklace.

I urge you to visit the website because there are literally endless choices of stunning dresses, super separates along with umpteen choices of accessories, from fascinators to shoes and jewellery.
You wont be hard pushed to find something you love!

Photographs c/o Esther Ruby, so pleased with them as always. X

Hope you can stop by on Monday where I'll be joining the four other ladies from
5 Over 50 for the third style challenge - that means it will be July by then!!!
