Peep toe booties.

Hi there, how are all the over fifty fashion bloggers (and everyone else) on this Monday morning?

Such fun evening on Saturday night, I had my prince and princess for the night!  All went well and considering they don't stay very often they were both brilliant.  I managed to watch my favourite Strictly Come Dancing, with a take away and one Gin & Tonic - yes only One wasn't I good?  Sorry to say the same can't be said about the curry, it seems new owners taken over our local restaurant without any notice, I hasten to add it was awful!
Number one priority for next week - find a new one!!
Sunday was another busy day with a few of the children, plus my cuties, for a Sunday Roast Beef dinner with all the trimmings - finally settling down to a little nap and the results of #SCD - bliss. X

Do you remember me going on and on about peep toe boots?  Well you might have seen that I did find a pair from JD Williams so since then have been wearing them on and off whenever the weather has been amicable.
I figured they'd look super with any number of outfits, so today I thought I share the jeans and jumper option.

These skinny frayed jeans have been pretty much a staple in my wardrobe since  DIY-ing them myself.  The only addition to my jeans and peep toes being a nice warm chunky jumper.  This is from H & M years ago, it's never failed me being of a neutral cream colour it goes with so much and can be dressed to fit shopping trips, day's out or walking the dog.  I wanted to tie the colours in so out came the finishing touch by way of my big check scarf.
Whilst I am trying to incorporate patterns into my looks, I still struggle with the idea of pattern mixing and feel comfortable with my three colour rule most of the time.  Here's a few other examples of said '3 colour rule' Camel coat, Demin jacketChelsea boots.

Hope you like these peep toe booties, I know they probably wont get too much wear within the next few months, but I'm looking forward to their prominent return in the Spring when, I know, they'll be in huge demand.

Jeans from Zara.
Jumper from H & M.
Boots from JD Williams.
Bag from TK Maxx.
Scarf from Primark.

Thanks to Esther Ruby for these super photos.  X

Catch up on Thursday, but let me know how your weekend went - I'd love to hear from you.

Bye for now. X

  1. Very nice shoes! I just bought some peep toe booties but now I'm wondering if I'll get to wear them much until Spring. I'm really feeling the cold lately, plus I'll have to paint my toenails if I do wear them!

  5. I love this cosied up look for winter Jacqui, especially that pretty checked scarf. Are these the same boots you wore to our meet up the other day? I didn't really notice as I was so taken with your nutmeg shirt - so much my colour and those frills too, all very me! Thanks for sharing another lovely post x

  7. You look fab, Jacqui but weren't your toes cold!! It must be freezing in the UK at the moment... I don't think I could bear to wear open toe shoes even here in Portugal where the sun is still shining (but it is chilly, lol!).
Hope you have a great week, my friend.
