You may remember a few weeks ago I shared my Rosegal wish list with you, & here's two super stylish dresses that I'm pleased to show you in full.
Did you catch my post on Monday? It was the monthly 5Over50 challenge featuring boots. You can find out all about how 5 over fifty bloggers took a walk on the wild side with our Boots that were made for Walking.
Have you happen to read Claire Justine's post earlier this week? It's all about investing in yourself, she has made a list of some changes she wants to do in her life to make her happier and healthier in the coming months, one of which was getting a gym membership! Well I've got one of them and don't really use it to it's full potential - time is the main problem! Anyway she mentioned going to the spin/cycle (no it's not about washing machines) class and I too have been going to two classes a week for the past three weeks. I love it! I come out completely knackered and feel like either passing out or being sick half way through, but I work through and feel elated when I've finished - both mentally, I've made it to the end of the class and physically, the feeling I get when working so hard - it can only be described as a whooshing feeling inside! So hopefully by the time I get to Abu Dhabi I may look and feel ever-so-slightly better!
So let's take a look at the two dresses I received from Rosegal.
My first pick is this navy fit and flare midi dress*. Drawn to the print & beautiful colours of the Bird of Prey flowers emblazoned through-out the dress. I've styled this with another dress under it, the reason being the sizing of the top half of the dress, I couldn't do the buttons up, but feel it looks super seeing the rust dress showing through. This you can also see between the slinky slits up either side on the thighs.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are my own opinions and 100% honest.
Keeping with the colour scheme I matched tan cross-over bag as well as my neutral ultra comfy ankle boots which are light tan suede with a cute block heel.
For my second choice Indulge me a little (I know it's not summer dress weather) with the next dress.
Because I am going away in a couple of weeks time, this will be the perfect summer dress to wear for the hot sunny climate I'll be visiting. When we took these photos it was blowing an awfully cold wind and I was freezing, can you tell by my blue tinged legs? Let's hope the weather is more accommodating when I'm away!
Lace has always been top of my list for elegance and style, so it was going to be something I'd most definitely chose from the Rosegal collection. How do you like my Off-the-shoulder?
Off white lace, nude shoes and pearls so pleasing in my eyes, I love this winning combination. So investing in this style will always pay off over time. The OTS trend still going strong and begs to be worn in the warmer weather, so I'm hoping it will be here for next year too.
This will be me getting a tan on my holiday hopefully, you can see I'm very much in need of some colour on my skin!
I can't wait to wear this lace creation on my holiday, maybe I'll get a bit of colour to really show it off, fake tan here I come! Lol.
I hope you will visit Rosegal for a quick peek at what they've got to offer, when you see something you'd like to buy there's a special discount code for you to use - just type RGNancy when you get to checkout.
Thanks for stopping by, I'm glad you could join me.

Hi Jessica, thanks so much for stopping by and thanks for your kind comments. x
DeleteSuch a great choice of dresses Jacqui, and both so different. I would have added a belt to the first one to pull it all together if you know what I mena, but of the two this is my favourite. I just love the bird pattern on this and agree that the dress underneath really works well so that you don't have to flash too much flesh! The other will be super for the summer - the cream tone really suits your skin.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely weekend!
Anna x
Yes I did think about adding a belt - next time I wear it I shall. x Thanks for your kind comments Anna. Have a super week Hun. x
DeleteThank you so much for the mention Jacqui. So lovely of you. I am loving the gym again but found it hard work to go with my Daughter off school. I went again today for body balance.
