Throw back Thursday - Sharing my Dresses.

Morning, how are you?

All good here with this over fifty fashion blogger.  Getting prepared for my week away, so trying (not very well) to get on top of the washing and ironing.  Sorting out what to take, what I need and what frivolous additions I can get away with (baggage weight and space permitting)!
I know to add a couple of pashminas or scarfs - they seem to be top of the list for being respectful, plus a couple of swimsuits, shorts and tops, oh and a few dresses & jumpsuits then the rest will have to follow as I start packing.

So I thought I'd take you on a little trip down memory lane to visit some of my favourite outfits from the past few months.

August saw me in a pale blue lace dress from Jacques Vert.  I chose this beautiful dress for my Niece's wedding and was so pleased with the outcome.  Matched with cream sandals from Zara, a beautiful cream hat along with my beautiful beaded bag from the Matalan sale. Lets not forget my pearls, twisted necklace and bracelet certainly are the icing on the cake!

I felt very elegant and polished on the sunny day in August.  Having had my make-up professionally applied, along with a spray tan and polished red nails.  It's so nice to get glammed up for a family wedding, & the shin-dig that followed was equally as impressive.

Back in September I shared this stunning hot cerise pink two piece with you.  You may know already that pink is my favourite colour and I select it often.  I've stored this until next year when I'm planning to wear it for another wedding.  I opted for pewter accessories, but might change this next year for something different!  What do you reckon I should try?

Now let me take you right back to the beginning of the 5Over50 challenge.  Back in May I got together with four other over fifty bloggers to bring our own individual style to set challenges.  The task, something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue  where, I think, all of us achieved top marks in the fashion stakes!!
Here's the patterned culotte  jumpsuit I wore - it's just one of those outfits that make me feel ... comfortable, stylish, smart and chic.

Fast forward to September when my challenge of Amazing Lace was undertaken - I might add very well indeed.  Hope you'll stop by and take in the views!  Here's a little peep at what I wore.

As you might have guessed I love wearing dresses, and haven't got anywhere near enough of them in my wardrobe.  They're just so easy to wear, only having to match in your accessories.  I do still enjoy wearing separates - but mainly for daywear.
I'm going to leave you with one of my best buys of the season my peep toe shoe/boots I adore these tan picks from JD Williams, trouble is now the weather is cold I'll have to pick and chose when I wear them again!

Many thanks for stopping by, I hope I might have inspired you to wear more dresses!  Let me know what you think,  I'd love to hear from you in the comments section.

Catch you on Monday.  Hope you'll pay me a visit I've got a Style Steal to share with you!

Until then, it's been fabulous. X

Bye for now.
