Hi there lovelies, all good with me hoping it is with you too.
Only two more sleeps and then this over fifty fashion blogger is jetting off on a skiing holiday. Have you got any holidays that you are preparing for? Is nice to be getting away from this awfully dreary weather, everything gets wet, damp and dirty & it's really the time of year that I dislike.
Skiing weather is just so different, I know it's cold but it's not a damp cold - and dressing accordingly makes such a difference. When I'm in the mountains I wouldn't dream of stepping out how I do at home, donning hat, gloves and full ski suit in the day, whilst of an evening when going out I wear jeans, boots, thick coat and gloves - the hotel, bars and restaurants are always baking hot so once inside I'm roasting! Follow me on IG to catch what I'm doing and wearing. Would love to see you there. X
Today after my ballet class I've got a hundred and one chores to get finished before packing, so today's blog will be short, but hopefully sweet and quite bright!
With this awful indecisive weather we're having for now, I wanted to brighten up my day, and what better way to do that than with a bright scarf. I bought this earlier on this week from Primark.
Pink you may know is my favourite colour, and fuchsia by far is the best! See me wearing a beautiful bright fuchsia two piece that would be perfect for a wedding.
Pink and black are great friends, always looking fabulous together especially with a touch of leopard print thrown into the mix. Wearing a black stretch tube skirt, with a padded pink jacket that I bought to wear in Edinburgh it's literally been everywhere with me! Also venturing out in long black boots that hubby bought me for Christmas, all tied in with this fabulously delicious pink scarf and a shiny crossover clutch bag. I feel brighter already. 💗 Try adding brighter colours to your outfits, by way of a scarf or bag - I promise it will lift your mood and maybe others you meet!

Oh it's always time for pink :) I love this colour Jacqui. You look amazing. This year, the weather is very ugly.

DeleteA ski trip is one I have never been on, but it sounds fun! I would probably be the one inside sipping the hot cocoa spiked with something good! Lol! I love that blush jacket! Have a marvelous time!
