I'm sick - 'cough cough' !!

Morning all.
Well my end of week/weekend have all rolled into one!  I've been in between the bed and the sofa for the past few days, struck down by the lurgy!  I'm not sure it was the flu, but a cold has never made me feel like that before!  Unfortunately having promised you and myself plenty - basically nothing has been done, no blog, no photos, no housework, no cooking and ... hold on a minute .... no eating (well a little) ... I must have been poorly because I always feel like eating!!

So trying to get back to as normal as possible today,  All I have to offer are my three top outfits from January.

Most favourite has to be this gorgeous little Chanel style jacket that found its way to me for Christmas.  The photos don't really do justice to how stunning, stylish and elegant this number really is.  I blame the weather - way to dark to any decent images outside. and there's not any picturesque areas in my house to take any better photos!
Fear not - because I'll be wearing this plenty through the coming months, & hopefully will get better images. X

Second best has to be My blue and green outfit never having the bottle to actually wear said colours together I deemed this blouse the perfect opportunity to try it out!  How well it looks,  Slammed that myth down right there .... I wish I had tried this before.  Hope you'll pop across for a quick read, let me know what you think about this look - would you wear it?

I love the style of this stylish blouse - the statement sleeves really work for me too.  I've been thinking of wearing it over a navy roll neck as well, this would add another layer and dimension too!

My last choice has to be my 'Style Steal' I wore all burgundy to copy The Pouting Pensioners outfit, but felt I looked more like a toy from a 70's children's telly show!  Pop over to see who I mean, and if you agree or not, lol.

Apologise for the lack of content today, sometimes we just have to put ourselves first in life and over the weekend that's just what I did.  Normal routine will resume - and I'll be back on track by Thursday - see you then!

Bye for today... X

  1. Hope you feel better soon, sweetie, but you've don the best thing and taken to your bed/sofa. Rest is nature's way and it's the best. I love how we bloggers get creative when we're up against it, like laid low with ah fluey cold. And I'm thrilled that your steal was one of your faves of the month but dear lady, you look neither Bill nor Ben in your cute hat! You look super cosy. Bugs and get well soon, x.

  4. Aw, Jacqui! I hope your starting to feel better! I don't think anyone has escaped the lurgy this year. My mother in law is in hospital with Australian flu and she is so ill with it. Everyone visiting has to wear a mask.xx
