Hello lovelies, how are you all?
How's you week been? I have to say mine has been a mixed bag, back to my keep fit and dancing classes - whoopee, but also catching up on my washing and ironing too - what a bore!
So glad the weather has got warmer, we nearly reached double figures when the photos were taken - woo!, therefore jacket weather! Is that a fluke, are we getting another bout of cold weather? No thank you we don't want more beasts from the east arriving, I want to break out the spring wardrobe - especially my peep toe booties that I bought towards the end of last season, having seen some lucky ladies in hotter climbs donning there's I want to wear mine now!
Trying out a new combination today, how about green with leopard print? I was looking on Pinterest and found a few inspiring outfits with said green and leopard. I wanted to try it out.
I 'found' this skirt in my mum's wardrobe & wore it with her stylish blouse the other day. It dates back from the 80's, so fits nicely on the waist, which is quite flattering as it holds everything in!

I started with the skirt & leopard scarf, then following my friend Anna's advice I threw some pieces on the bed to see what would work, hey presto this is what emerged!
What do you reckon?
I won't say I begged, but I did give lots of hints about these shoes, seeing and trying them in Debenhams last year I found they not only fitted me, but looked great too.
Somehow the hints managed to be deciphered and by magic they appeared for my birthday. He, he, he.
The skirt I removed from mum's wardrobe, so you could say I stole it, (she did know I'd taken it - honest). I love the little pleated spilt in the reverse seam - sorry no photos of this! 😖 I matched it with a basic Cami top, with this lace, peplum blouse over it. Lace has long been a favourite of mine, and I've got plenty of outfits to back me up! Here's my 5Over50 challenge featuring Amazing Lace also this gorgeous Lace Jacket from France.
My jacket was borrowed from eldest daughter a few months ago, you see I needed a tan jacket to complete my outfit and she had the very thing. Trouble is I've still got it, but she can have it back, I have only borrowed it😉
You might know I have a bit of a liking for scarfs, I have roughly 50 in my collection, this leopard print scarf is one I wear quite often, it just works with so many different looks, I recently wore it for a Style Steal, which worked perfectly - it's also keeps me warm as I can use it as a shawl.
Look it's even sunny enough to wear my Ralph Lauren Sunglasses similar here
, I adore wearing sunnies, because I suffer from squinty eyes even with the slightest glimpse of bright weather, which isn't very flattering at all. Does anyone else have this trouble?
I've also seen the combination of navy and leopard print, but I'll try that out another day.

DeleteI love that you used so much brown in this look. I think most people steer away from using brown with leopard, but I think it makes the whole look so chic!
