Calla Shoes for Bunion Sufferers or not!

Hi there, thanks for stopping by my little blog space today.
Did you visit on Thursday?  Not only was there the #chicandstylish #linkup, but also my first ever Giveaway - a chance to win a personalised map location heart frame.  This stunning and unique keepsake will be a charming addition to your wall space, so hope you'll hop over and enter.
After a lovely long bank holiday weekend that's still in full swing, I'm making the most of the decent weather & chilling with the family in the garden with a BBQ.
Saturday was also spent in the garden, grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding and cleaning the conservatory - crikey how did that get so dirty!
Saturday night we attended a friends 65th party - surrounded by friends, plenty of fizz and a boogie to the band - yes they had a band in their kitchen!  After the late night it was nice to have a Sunday morning lie-in.  In the afternoon we met friends for a couple of drinks by the sea, finishing off the afternoon with some of the family at my daughters for a BBQ - yes two in one weekend!  This weather is really making me show off!

Can I ask you a personal question.  Are you a bunion sufferer?

Although I'm not entirely in the bunion category, I think there might be one looming!
When I was scrolling through Instagram I was intrigued to find Calla Shoes sharing not only elegant shoes for bunion sufferers but also they have recently added half sizes to some of their collection too - what joy to find stylish shoes that fit with ease and comfort.
As they have just introduced half sizes I opted for the feminine Sophia - nude pink court shoe*.  Feeling very spoilt when I opened up the box, how the soft suede smelt divine, felt extremely soft and looked luxurious.

My feet went arrrhhh ......
You know when you put something on and it fits like a glove?  That's just how I felt when I slipped these nude court shoes on.  The six and a half are true to size enclosing my feet in the leather-lined padded insole perfectly.   If it's a half size you're after this particular style is also available in black, however if you don't need a half size Calla Shoes have this style in red, grey and nude beige - as well as the black and nude pink - wow too much choice ladies!!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Quoting from Calla Shoes
"Calla makes it easy to find that special pair of shoes.  We have created an exclusive range of heeled and flat shoes that are designed with 'Calla comfort' to fit your bunion, and that uniquely, will also be on trend and stylish."
If you check out the website you'll see just how true that statement is, I saw plenty that I knew would be sitting pretty in my shoe collect and even prettier on my feet!

Calla shoes offer additional width and volume just where it's needed. The insoles have arch support that bring comfort, hallelujah isn't that just what us over fifties need?  The muted hide  that's used hides bunions perfectly & the heel detail is just divine - a really noticeable bow detail that just looks so cute.

You might remember this lace dress I wore last year.  I wasn't entirely sure that it was the right style for me, but seeing it on for the second time now I think it will work just fine for lots of outings from meals out with the hubby to BBQ's in the summer.   I wouldn't normally pair a chunky necklace with a delicate lace dress,  but I've been wanting to try out other options just to see what else works - it helps to look outside the box sometimes - I think it looks brilliant too.  I grabbed this pink floral scarf and cute little patent bag and I was good to go!

Now don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY with up to four chances to win this gift, you'd be silly not to because it's exciting and memorable too - good luck. 🍀
So pleased you visited today, catch me on Thursday for the #chicandstylish #LINKUP.

  13. I'm much more likely to invest a large amount of money on a classic pair of shoes or boots than to splash out on an expensive pair of fashion shoes that I know will only last a few weeks.   https://spreeglee.com
