Eva Trends - Throw on & Go! #chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hello and welcome to my over fifties blog.
How've you all been?  Has the weather been kind to you?  We've had a mini heatwave here in the UK, but I wouldn't be surprised if we're back to cold weather soon - that seems to be the 'norm' atm!
After the four family birthday's of previous weeks we have a bit of a lull in the MummB household, that's until next week when there's three in a row mine, princesses then eldest son's!  Gets to be an expensive month I can tell you!  Just as well mine is first - lol 😏
Having recently been contacted by Eva trends who have a stunning collection of garments ranging from stylish dresses, unusual tops and outwear including jackets, coats and cardigans.
I wanted to share my latest addition with you.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Scrolling through their website I was impressed by the amount of fabulous choices - all of which I wanted!  Settling on a dress*, beach cover-up* (both being shared in the next few weeks) and this easy to wear longline cardigan* - duster for my American friends.  I'd spotted Jennie from A Pocketful of Polka Dots a few weeks ago sporting a delightful green Kimono and I wanted in on the act!

The only problem was when I received the cardigan, and a beautiful one at that, I didn't have anything to wear with it! Honestly. 😕  Letting myself  'do an Anna' (that's throw various items on the bed and see what comes forth) - something Anna from Anna's Island Style does.
So here's what appeared.  I paired my black and white flecky pencil skirt with a plain black silky top. White peep toe wedge shoes, and my black and beige raffia clutch bag. This is not the colour scheme I'd normally chose, but figured I'd try something different - what do you think, has it worked?

I love the super leaf design in this cascade knitted cardigan that also comes in coffee, camel and black. It's a one size fits all fit & I wear a UK size 14. I like the relaxed, casual fee it gives me.

I reckon I'll be popping out shopping for some pieces to compliment this cover up, well a girls got to have some choices right?   I can see me wearing this when there might be a chill in the air after a hot summers day, it's a throw on & go kind of jacket!

Picking out the colours beautifully I opted for my daughters gold, silver green and black chunky necklace.  Great to have daughters to borrow from .... "Oh sorry did I forget to mention I'd borrowed it darling"? *smiles sweetly*

Well worth visiting Eva Trends as I'm sure you'll find plenty to please your eyes and your pocket.  There's also a 15% discount code on your entire order, please use the code JB15 at the checkout.
Please stop by next week - I'm styling another beautiful outfit from Eva trends, and it's another winner!

Time now for #linkup, I now you are all #chicandstylish & I can't wait to see what you've all been wearing.

Who's favourite this week?
Let me introduce Anna, who you'll find over at Mutton Years Style and I.
Sharing her pleather leggings and carefree gypsy style top that's taking her from cooler weather to warmer days - the perfect outfit for a cheeky trip to the pub - cheers Anna.
