Re-living Ibiza. #chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hello my friends.
Hope I find you well.

Seems like my holiday to Ibiza was years ago.  When in fact I've only been back a couple of weeks! Isn't is a shame how long we wait for holidays to arrive, then no sooner do they transpire than we are back home, back to work and back to normality - feeling like we've never been away!

My weeks holiday in Es Canar with the family was a knockout.  I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my time away.  The weather was amazing, the food - well the food was appealing, varied & plentiful, the drinks flowed and the company was brilliant.  All of this made even better upon the surprise arrival of my youngest daughter!

This coral pink jumpsuit was one of two new things I bought to take away.  If you're like me I have a drawer full of dresses, tops, shorts and swimwear just for holidays.  Things that I wouldn't normally wear in the UK - that is unless you are in the middle of a scorching hot heatwave as we are experiencing now! I've never worn shorts this often at home, but they seem to be the coolest item to wear.
Anyway I digress, the jumpsuit is from George.  Worn a handful of times already, so the £16 I paid for it is a snip.  Worn with flat sandals (nothing else felt quite so comfy) and my pretty white flower necklace - which also helped to show off the tan - lol.

A must-visit in Ibiza has to The Old Town or Eivissa as it's locally known.  We spent a couple of hours here one evening.  We had a meal in one of the local restaurants after strolling along the marina and through the winding streets.  Passing little clubs & bars, shops selling local craft, boutiques and gift shops.  I would loved to have spent an hour or so checking out all the little dress shops, but with the children and hubbies - it just didn't seem right.  I hasten to add I did return with a little lace dress that will share with you in the next few weeks! 😉

Some awesome boats lined the marina, one mooring as we watched with some six crew members maneuvering it into place!
Jumpsuits seems to be a bit of a thing for me & nearly all the photos on todays post have me wearing one!  Catch how me and four other bloggers wear our jumpsuits on Ask Suzanne Bell. This New look previous season (above)  first worn here, has an eye-catching palm leaf design over it, and because it's got a few bright bold colours over it can be paired with many colours - I opted for the nude block heeled sandals from F & F basically because they are comfortable, but still look feminine.

I was drawn to this shorts romper suit by the colour - turquoise blue looks fabulous on most people, and certainly shows off a tan.  I like this fun little playsuit that I got last year for my Hen weekend in Ibiza, so it seemed fitting to take it back to the Island for a repeat.

Apparently Café Mambo is THE place to watch the sunset, so we decided to go there one evening after dinner.  Arriving to crowds already plotted up on the beach and the promenade that surrounds Café Mambo.  Slow soothing music could be heard along with the chatting of people.  We waited and watched as the boats went to and fro the little bay - partially hiding  the sun as it progressively dropped into the sea.  Eventually the glint that was left quickly vanished before my eyes and the sun was gone!  Very strange that everyone clapped - which I thought rather funny - mimicking it saying "thank you, thank you - I'll be doing this again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next ………"

It's been so nice to re-live my holiday to Ibiza, so pleased you stopped by to join me, hope you'll add a post or two to my #chicandstylish #linkup. x
