Lilla Rose Giveaway - #chicandstylish #linkup

Hi there!  How's your short week going?
I love that bank holidays mean a shorter working week - it means I have my family around me for longer.
Did you do anything exciting?  I'd love to hear what it was.
We were still working in the garden on Saturday, clearing and sorting - but the mind hasn't caught up with the fact that I'm over fifty and sets a pace for a twenty year old!  Quickly reminded on the following days by plenty of aches and pains!  Sunday had us celebrating with our best friends for their 30th wedding anniversary - a night out with drinks and a lovely meal in a fairly local hotel.  Again the mind still thinks I'm a teenager with the amount of drinks and the late night I had - resulting in a slow day on Monday.  Getting home to have nearly all the family round for a long waited and much anticipated roast dinner.  Don't get me wrong I love having BBQ's, lazy dinners or takeaways on a Sunday, but it's so nice to have a full all-bells-and-whistles family roast dinner - followed by relaxing snoozing on the sofa! …. heaven.

Item marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Talking of relaxing …

... it's nice to get dressed up in heels and look stylish, but equally is just as nice to dress down in a laid back outfit and on lots of days my hair follows suit.  I love having long hair, and have never been tempted to have it cut (that might result on a divorce - lol).  So on the days when it's not just been freshly washing and blow-dried  I like to wear it up.  Step forward these Lilla Rose - Independant Stylist  flexi clips please.  They really are handy.  I was so impressed by the beauty of each clip and had a hard task to pick some!
Please read on to enter the Giveaway to win a stylish Lilla Rose Flexi clip!

I chose these two.  The Brass Knott & Sapphire Joy.*

Here I wore the flexi clip in a simple twist.  Catching the hair in a low pony tail and twisting inwards, then securing at the top letting hair fall over - this I backcomb to give some lift.

The second style is the half hair pulled back and secured at the top of the head - catching all the hair in the clip - this is another neat look I often use.

Here's why Lilla Rose Flexi Clips are so unique.

Lilla Rose clips come in many different sizes and it's crucial to get the right one.  I studied the following charts to ascertain the correct one for my hair.  Please do check out the sizing chart before placing your order!

Along with the clips, Lilla Rose also offer a wide range of accessories from bobby pins, to headbands and sticks.  You wont be disappointed with your choice.
Now's you chance to have your very own Flexi Clip - here's the giveaway details below - good luck!

  1. When I had long hair, I could never find clips to hold my hair in place – because my hair is so thick and I've got such a lot of it lol! Now though, I don't have enough hair to clip up!
Yours looks stunning up or down, Jacqui! And I love those floral trousers <3

  14. Loving the palazzo pants on you. The combination of olive with pastels makes them great for Fall too. I also love the cute beaded hair pins as I am a sucker for a cute hair accessory. And that black leather bomber is so cute too, Jacqui. =)

  15. I am a sucker for a cute hair accessory and I love those fun beaded hair pins. Also the palazzo pants are super cool. Between the olive and the pastel colors, they make great floral pants for Autumn. Such a chic black leather bomber, too! =))

  17. Such pretty hair clips! When I had my hair cut a bit shorter at the beginning of the year I couldn't wear it up and I really missed that. It's good to be able to wear hair up when it goes a bit unruly! Luckily it was Winter and I could wear a hat on the morning school run!
