Style Steal - #chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hi there lovelies.  What are you up to?
I feeling rather pleased with myself at the moment.  You see I'm following a diet and so far have lost a stone!!  I'm so shocked because I've never really managed to lose any weight on a diet.  Does this sound familiar, start the diet on Monday, do really well and stick to it until Friday - then it goes downhill with takeaways, prosecco, dinner out, prosecco and a big family roast dinner with more prosecco! 😂 Then I wonder why I've not lost any weight!!!  It's so obvious - you literally 'are what you eat'.  Trouble is I LOVE MY FOOD!  Now this diet I'm following is not actually difficult, you just have to stop eating and drinking the things you aren't allowed and eat what you should - it's not brain science, lol. It's all about accepting a different mind-set.
Anyway - so far so good and I'm chuffed pink with my clothes feeling looser and looking much better! I'll keep you posted how the diet goes.

Okay back to today's Style Steal.  It should have been presented Monday, but I decided to push it back by a few days, due to not having photos ready to use - Opps! Which reminds me I've still to use my voucher for a photography course!

Finding the steal was easy, with all of you having such wonderful styles & ideas I see different things I like everyday.  Completing the look turned out a little more tricky.  I found this blouse in my mum's wardrobe, and promptly took it before she could say no.  Actually I found two, but preferred this one.  I've needed wanted black jeans for ages, so did some research online but found zero!  I popped into my fav store - TK Maxx and found these black stretch jeans that fitted like a dream.  I'd already decided to fray them myself - problem sorted!

I did draw the line at copying the ripped knees - they're just something I can't bring myself to wear, but love seeing other bloggers celebrating them.
Doesn't Suzanne look super in hers?  Check out the rest of her blog over on Crazy Blond Life.  As soon as I clapped eyes on Suzanne's look I loved it.  Just so classy and chic, with a young vibe shining through.

Not quite the same animal print as Suzanne picked, but you get the gist.  Looks wild and wonderful to me - how about you?
Mum's two blouses had been around since the 80's, one still had shoulder pads in!  I love the easy feel of the chiffony animal print shirt,  great collar and long sleeves.  I tried to turn them over, but the flimsy material just wouldn't stay in place!  Tucking the blouse in for a neat finish or could be left hanging for a totally relaxed feel.

How about the statement belt - I'd like to say it's genuine - well it is genuine …. leather lol!
So happy with my steal this month - just need to brush up start learning to take great photos now.

Now the question is "Do I give the blouses back to mum, or keep them and plead innocence"????
