Style Steal - Another piece from Krisp Clothing.

Morning, how's life for you over fifty bloggers?
I'm still away on my holiday so have posted this in advance.  This month's Style Steal is just a little bit different, this month I'm not actually copying a specific outfit, but emulating someone's classic & elegant mode of dress - can you guess who its is?

Do you remember I was lucky enough to receive this super jacket a few weeks ago & along with that I also picked this Pussy Bow Blouse* from Krisp Basics collection.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

My timeless outfit is full of classic pieces, all in neutral shades of cream, with a punch of black trim to keep everything in order.

So have you guessed who November's subject is?  This lady is the epitome of classic & elegance with every outfit she wears.  From wide leg trousers, to pleated skirts and stylish midi dresses nearly all in neutral shades which are her signature look. Were you right It's Laurie from Vanity and Me Style. Do pop over a have a look at her blog, I'm sure you'll love her style as I do.
Here Laurie is wearing a slinky black pencil skirt and fabulous flouncy animal print blouse.   I adore the shiny buttons spaced down to the dignified side split, and the perfect length to portray a polished finish.  Bravo Laurie!

Here's more about my "sort of copy" and more about this dainty long sleeved blouse.  Made from sheer chiffon & in a gorgeous biscuit shade.  I wore a little camisole underneath it, just to keep it presentable.  The puffy wide sleeves are elasticated at the wrist for a neat finish.  With button fastenings to the front topped off with the pussy bow tie, this could have been left to hang for a slightly different look as well.  This blouse comes in an array of colours, all would be versatile in my wardrobe especially the baby pink.  With black, red, royal blue and wine & only costing £11.99 there's scope to buy more than one!

I opted to match my cream with gold sheen pleated skirt, which I've previously worn with tassel boots for a more casual look.  The steal called for a jacket that was both ageless and chic - what better option than this Hobbs beauty?  You can see it here with a lace skirt & here over black trousers.

Stepping out in my Calla court shoes which are a super soft blush nude suede - not only invitingly comfortable, but perfectly paired for my genteel outfit.

Esther and I had fun taking photos in a local park.  The leaves make a welcome addition to the shots, I must have looked funny throwing them everywhere!  Great pictures though, thanks Esther. X

Thanks to my photographer Esther Ruby.
See you again on Thursday, I'll be back home then to catch up on your blogs.
Bye for now. X
