Morning lovelies.
How's over fifties blogging land today?
How can we be half way through March already? Time seems to fly by so quickly doesn't it!
It's the 3rd Monday in the month so that means it's time for a Style Steal - a monthly post where I copy a bloggers outfit and try to re-create it either copying the outfit, the colours, the style or the idea ( I have been know to copy someone's blog title too!)
You'll remember this lady from last month, well she's done it again.
I fell for this one back at the beginning of February. Just when I was sorting my copy for February, Andrea - Living on Cloud Nine went and threw this into the mix, I then had two fetching numbers to emulate - result. 😃
I've only recently embraced the trainers with skirts and dresses trend, but feel very at home & young wearing it. Plenty of yummy mummy's wear this style as do lots of young-at-heart nan's too! 😉 You can see when I first wore this casual style with my faithful red pleated skirt - getting lots of positive comments along the way - this is a look I like and will enjoy wearing it again. X
I love to visit Andrea's blog as she's always wearing well thought through outfits and finishes them off to the finest detail. Her outfit came about from seeing another blogger wearing this outfit and she, like me, copied the look! Her neutral outfit comes alive with her gold bag that matches the gold strip on her Adidas trainers. A copy of a copy if you like!

Which gave me an idea.

I've had this M & S skirt (try this copy) for a few years now, always feeling very sophisticated wearing it. There's something so chic about a pleated skirt - but worn with flats gives another avenue to follow and allows a more casual, but stylish vision.
I don't actually own many white jumpers - in fact this is the only decent one I could find! I've been looking for a good quality white jumper, but haven't found one I REALLY like (this might be the one!), when I do I know it'll get lots of use so it will have to be a classic, non-fussy style. This was from Matalan, although not the best quality (it looses it's shape quickly) it's nice and thin so looks acceptable.
The day we took these photo's we were chasing the sunshine! Esther ruby had suggested a trip to Margate, but after getting nearer we ran into misty surroundings. We decided to try another venue and found ourselves following the blue skies for warmth and better light!
My youngest daughter supplied the cream Dune bag which fits the bill beautifully. This is also a cute bag.
I didn't quite go all the way because of not having the exact footwear - but my shiny oatmeal baseball shoes (you might like these) came a close second don't you think?
Many thanks Esther Ruby for taking these photos - how did you manage to miss all the people that were about, it was so busy we didn't stay long!
See you on Thursday for the #chicandstylish #linkup.
If you'd like to join in with COPY CAT next month do send me your photos my lovelies.
Cheerio for now.X
