How are you all?
I'm still in a pre-wedding frenzy, running about here, there and everywhere getting the last few pieces of the wedding puzzle sorted. I know the day will be here before I know it, and all too soon it will become a distant memory, so I want to try and enjoy what I'm doing but that's easier said than done!
We've had the 'Hen' weekend, which I will be sharing in the next couple of weeks, my outfit is ready and waiting, the hair and makeup has been booked - along with my nail and spray tan appointment. Caterers are sorted I just need to finalize the drinks and a few other finishing touches then I'll be wedding ready. Wish me luck to get it all done my friends.
I was recently in contact with Bonmarche & it couldn't have come at a better time. Having lost weight in the past few months, many of my clothes are now too big. I've been adding bits and pieces to my otherwise sparse wardrobe, so these stripy trousers are a welcome addition for me.
As you may well know I love wide leg palazzo trousers, finding them flattering and comfortable. These are no exception, and will give tons of options for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
I've always been a big fan of bright colours, and feel they're better placed among my dark colourings.
So I chose to stay bright and bold with my choice of black palazzo trousers that have a blaze of red and pink running through them. You can hardly see the faint pink line that runs next to the coral red stripe doesn't it blend in beautifully? My size 12 fit like a glove, wrapping and skimming in the right places. The cool crepe trousers* have the most perfect drape, hanging in just the right way to create a sleek finish. These are now reduced to £20 and are available in sizes 10 - 24 means we can all embrace the wide - leg - trouser.
Here I've worn with red slingbacks which sit at the most flattering length to elongate the leg, however whilst away in Spain I saw a beautifully stylish lady wearing wide leg trousers with high wedges, they finished on the ankle and looked super cute - I might try it to see how it looks on me! Matching red patent bag compliments the shoes, as does the coral red cold shoulder blouse. You may remember I've worn this over palazzo trousers before - it's just such a versatile colour I had to wear it again! I loving this one that's similar.
A great little twist with the belt having horizontal stripes - that's the kind of detail I love. I fancy trying a pale pink top & reckon I'll be pleasantly surprised with the outcome of that look too!

DeleteHow perfect to get a great pair of trousers to add to your sparse clothes collection. These striped ones are so very you Jacqui! I could see these working with a crisp white tee for the summer or a black polo for the winter - how very useful they'll be. Good luck with all of the last minute preparations, but it sounds like you're very organised and not leaving anything to chance. Well done and speak soon xxx
