Over fifty blogging land all good I hope!
I'm feeling like I'm getting back to normality now, my house is looking less cluttered, the grass is growing back and I'm finding time for blogging, gym classes, shopping and my dancing classes.
With a holiday on the horizon, I'm starting to think of my holiday wardrobe. I have a draw full of beach wear, & a wardrobe of summer dresses that normally only come out for my hols, with many of them being relegated to the charity pile, I'll be checking through to find out what fits or not and what's going to make the cut. I might be needing a new jumpsuit so will be shopping for one today.
Today's dress won't be making the cut as the material is way too hot for me to take anywhere warm. It's more of a Spring/Autumn dress, but I tend to wear something anytime if it feels right! I've also layered it with jumpers, tee shirts and boots & sandals make an appearance occasionally too.
I've been delving into my wardrobe a lot recently, you will remember seeing my 'power suit' recently, as well as this striking jacket too. My love for dresses has been around for ages, this being one of the founder members - yes I've had it years!!! It's from J Taylor (this one I love from M & S) a brand that no longer exists, but the quality and style have never faded. It's been worn and washed umpteen times and still looks as good a new, proving sometimes paying that little bit extra really does make your pound go further. Here I've styled with basic black courts, but in the past have worn it with cream and red accessories - maybe with my new found confidence from blogging I might try it with a blast of blue!
It's a faux wrap dress, a style I love to wear, although having to strategically place a safety pin to keep my dignity intact. With it's own matching tie belt, which I've previously fastened front, back, either side in a bow or just double tied and left hanging. I've also corresponded a belt to match whatever bag and shoes I use.
