Dressing like a Deck Chair! Style Steal.

Morning all.
How are you lovely lot?
All good here, just wishing the weather was a bit nicer for us, it's making me think about Autumn clothes and I really don't want to be thinking about that yet!  But what I am thinking about is how the hell I can do a Style Steal without a steal?  Well technically that's wrong because I do have a steal - I just don't have a photo of the steal!!
Confused?  Read on my friends.

Well technically that's wrong because I do have a steal - I just don't have a photo of the steal!!

I'm a huge fan of Instagram (catch my stories here), scrolling through looking for ideas, commenting on lovely outfits, make-up designs and beautiful destinations.  Whilst looking through some time ago I spotted a gorgeous lady wearing a really interesting dress.  I liked and commented and that was as far as I got.  Imagine finding the dress in my local H & M - in the sale for like £8 I jumped on it, not really knowing if the strange-but-exciting style would suit me.  Well you can let me know what you think, but I'm rather taken with the 'deck chair' pattern and unusual design.

So please forgive me as I don't have a photo of the said lady wearing the dress her way, but should I find it I will include the piccy to complete the challenge.
This wrap around is a flattering example and fits smoothly and neatly to create a perfect silhouette on me, unlike others that gape & need a safety pin strategically placed.
Mine has the wide belt slipped through the side hole and tied in a stylish bow on the side. Long sleeves will make this desirable in the cooler months when a jumper or jacket will also look super.

I've nicked these wedges from my daughter, she's not taken all her belongings yet, which leaves me in the fortunate position of borrowing them and other pieces whenever I want - ha ha ha!!!

You can see the unusual way this pattern is matched and I can't help but think it reminds me of a British deck chair - but it's definitely a grower so I'll be wearing this in the not-so-distant future - maybe on my trip to Rome in September!

I can't tell you just how many times I've used my basket bag, it comes up trumps so often. It's so versatile and always comes on holiday with me because It's just big enough for all I need.  This my friend bought me ages ago, but nearly every fashion store has one or other that would be a great buy.

So pleased you could join me today, and if you know the lady I copied from this month, be a darling and let me know. X
Photos by Esther Ruby - hugs and kisses to you. 😍
Bye for now, see you next week. X

And that you can borrow from your daughter's things to supplement your wardrobe - what a score! I just love this look on you - it's just perfect, down to your daughter's shoes and your straw bag!
