Another look for my Vionic Trainers.

Hi there!
How's everyone doing?
Are you ready for the big day?
I'm still getting ready, busy buying presents, wrapping and sorting the final bits.  I don't have to worry about the menu as we always have the same!
I invariably make a chicken liver pate and smoked salmon pate, which is always loved and devoured by all the family.  Without doubt we have turkey, and usually buy two - one for the freezer to have over Easter.  We have roast potatoes, a baked red cabbage, plenty of vegetables, stuffing, pigs-in-blankets (both sausage filled and cheese too) Yorkshire puddings & bread sauce .... oh and I dare not forget ... the piece de resistance ... the TURKEY GRAVY!!!
Oh my mouth is watering at the thought, I can't wait!

Okay, okay enough about food - let's talk trainers.
You might remember I featured these last week and promised to share them again styled with my faux wax jeans, well here they are.

Trainers can be worn with just about anything can't they?  I've only just recently started wearing them for anything other than running to the shops or to the gym.  They really do add a sassy edge to what you're wearing and I love the looks that can be created.  All the young bloggers show how easy they are to wear, and plenty of us 'oldies' are wearing them too.  See when I copied another blogger by wearing them with my daughters dress - how great do they look, natural, nice and like they've been made for each other!

Now I know I'll have to choose wisely when to wear my light coloured Vionic sneakers, but we do have SOME bright & clear days in the UK, so that's when I'll make my mark in them.  Here's one way I'll be showing them off in the future - what do you think?

These faux wax trousers are SO comfy, they fit like a glove.  I love that they won't fade like other black denim, perfect every time they are worn.  I teamed them with the trainers and probably the only item in my wardrobe that's got mauve in it.  This long line shirt got a reprieve from the charity pile & I'm so pleased it did.

With grey leaves on the shirt too I picked silver beads tied in a knot.  Also added my cute grey crossbody bag for a good dollop of interest.

I'm a girly, girl at heart so I'm loving the ribbon lace, it's added a real feminine vibe to these casual trainers.

So pleased you joined me today - let me know how your December is panning out.
Esther Ruby took my photos, thanks my lovely.
Bye for now X
