Camel Coat from Sosandar.

Morning all.
How are you my lovely friends?
I'm getting my bag ready to go skiing, I've got all my ski gear sorted and the only thing I need is a pair of goggles.  My old ones are well used and last year I knew I needed a new pair because they literally came apart - this doesn't help at all as they steam up making vision nigh impossible.  When I went to Valmorel last year it did prove tricky at times, but I survived the weekend and promised to get some new ones for my next trip.  I've spotted these on Amazon which I might get before I go, otherwise with plenty of local shops selling ski wear I'll buy some out in Italy.

Did you catch my Style Steal last Thursday?  I've been all over the show with my blogging over the Christmas and New year period & I'm really looking forward to getting back to normal and posting a new Style Steal once a month every third Monday - hope you'll stop by to join me, also keep sharing your lovely outfits as I get so much inspiration from you!
Esther and I had a fun afternoon taking photos last Thursday, the weather was very bleak and dreary with grey skies and rain in the air.  I know Esther will bring out the best in the shots, I just hope my outfits keep up their side of the bargain - lol.

Today I thought I'd better show you one of my Christmas presents.  I've wanted to add to my coat collection for ages, and actually have wanted a camel coat for years!  Neutral caramel shades are a 'must' for us all, and I bet lots of you have a camel coat lurking in your wardrobe somewhere!  You might recall I drop a few loads of hints prior to the big day in hope that I get exactly what I want (not that I'm fussy you understand). 🤣 So let's see if it worked!
Err ... shall I get back to the coat?  I have been seeing an awful lot about Sosandar on social media recently and wanted to find out for myself just what all the hype was about.  You can find out what I think about my latest coat further on .....

Well I think the media were right about this Sosandar coat as it's a cool style - very classic and somewhat sophisticated.  When I saw this it was reduced (I haven't actually asked the question if hubby bought it in the sale), but I hoping he did - I do LOVE to get a bargain. 🤣  Anyway it's a very reasonable price to begin with, so if he didn't that's still a good deal.  It's a camel wool mix coat with decorative tortoiseshell button details.  The single breasted cut has a fabulous deep lapel and two buttons to secure in the middle, I have to add the style is very casual with no belt, waistband or darts, I was a little put off by this at first, but as I put it on again and again I really like it.  A very casual piece that finishes just on the knees for a fling-on-and-go coat!  - it will work well both casually and formally.  I'm looking forward to donning it with jeans and boots as well as wearing it out with a skirt or dress (I'm sharing it with a skirt soon, do watch out for that).

This is a dry clean only wool mix coat that just floats my boat and I really am having to stop myself wearing it every day. It's fully lined which adds to the warmth, fits true to size AND has pockets either side ✓  - I'm wearing a size 12 which happens to be the correct size and fits like a glove.  You can expect excellent packaging for the price tag of £139 and is available in sizes 8 - 20 with free delivery on orders over £75!

I'm going to share some details about the rest of my outfit.  The trousers were from the F & F sale a while back (you might remember me wearing them with pale blue and denim).  The blouse has been around a year or so - I wore it over grey trousers in one of my first attempts at pattern mixing - love that first experience & I'm still working on mixing designs and patterns!  Paisley is a real favourite of mine and this blouse has been well worth the money as I've worn it plenty of times.  It's from H & M who have always got a huge selection in store and online - I've got another to share with you soon - black and white which is simply divine. X

Additional pieces were my nude lotus shoes which are wedges and very stable for everyday use.  The necklace is another favourite of mine, the neutral browns, wooden beads and gold features just make it so wearable!

So all in all I've been pleasantly surprised with Sosandar.  They offer seamless, unfussy garments in flattering styles and excellent quality.  Do stop by their site as they have some eye catching dresses and fabulous footwear too.

So kind of you to stop by.
Esther Ruby took these photos - thank you Hun. X
Catch you on Thursday for the brand new #chicandstylish #LINKUP.

  1. I love the classic look of your coat, so classy and I completely agree a good coat should be fully lined to let it hang properly and have that sumptuous feel.

  5. Such a gorgeous coat, Jacqui! I do not own a camel coat, but I think I need to start looking for one. I love the print on your blouse, too. Great outfit! 6. I've been on the hunt Jacqui!! I have wanted a structured camel coat for awhile, but it doesnt have to be too heavy as I live in NC! I love the lapel and length too! So pretty with your oufit and the neutral trousers! I always love to see the architecture where people live!

  7. Lovely, classic coat Jacqui! I've seen lots about Sosandar lately too, and they're based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, which isn't far from where I live. They've been on a recruitment drive and I've been seriously thinking about applying...life as a freelancer is a precarious one, although I do love working in TV. All the browns and neutral hues in your outfit work so well with your gorgeous blouse. I hope you have a wonderful time skiing!
