Grey Culottes with Lemon Yellow - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hi there my lovely friends.
What you been up to?
I've been trying to dodge this awful weather, it's been horrendous!  Have you been touched by the weather recently?  I do hope you're staying safe and warm.

I was taking about my recent purchase from Primark last week.  The soft grey culottes will work wonders in my wardrobe, and I've been scouting around looking for other options.  I've noted a few, so will be checking them out and sharing them over the next few weeks.  Now here's my first variation for my grey trousers that have a faint white check over them - lemon yellow.

Do you remember seeing this floaty yellow blouse?  I wore it with grey and leopard print before too!
It's a combo that works well & I feel comfortable wearing it, so it was an obvious choice.
The blouse is a light and airy chiffon style, adorned with a dotty pattern and ruffles - both adding a lady like feel.  My favourite detail though has to be the bell sleeves, light, wavy and cute.

I opted for heels.  These are from Dorothy Perkins (these are similar) and have a feminine effect with the pointed toe and stiletto heel, they aren't the best choice for anything like shopping or day-tripping, but lunch with hubby or the girls would be okay.

I needed to break up the colour so added my silver beads which added an interest of shine & balances out the high neckline with a deep V.  On another occasion I think I may add another one or two chains at different lengths - what do you think?  Here's a similar necklace you might like.

A little photo bomb from this friendly dog.  He was rather old and really didn't want to move away. What a sweetie he was.

Now time to party!  Today it's the #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Shall we find out who was last weeks favourite?
Say hello to Jess - Elegantly Dressed and Stylish.  I love everything about her outfit from the fact that it's a dress to the leopard print cardigan, such a vibrant look with the ever popular animal print addition, but the boots really do it for me - superb!

  7. Jacqui, this is a gorgeous color combination! Perfect for transitioning into spring. Although spring still seems so far away. We are currently in a blizzard that is threatening 3-4 feet of snow by tomorrow. It’s crazy!
