Thanks for popping by today.
You're just in time to check out the latest offerings from the Style not Age collective & guess what?
We have a new member!
A big warm welcome to Gail - Is This Mutton. If you don't already follow her blog you might remember she was an original member of the 5 Over 50 group. So she's back with us to share her take on our monthly challenges
Let's waste no time in getting to the challenge.
It fell into the lap of Hilda this month and she's given us a popular choice for the new season ...
Flower Power
Florals play an important part in every season, but I have to say Spring florals are my favourite. Spreading a happy vibe when worn, they can't help but make us think of warmer weather and bright flowery gardens, bee's and birds floating on a warm breeze & that's where I got my incentive from.
Do you recall my mustard dress that I bought from F & F back in 2018? I still love wearing it with a mustard roll neck underneath too Well they have the same style in a different pattern - as I liked it in mustard so much and knew it suited me I picked this pastel version to wear for the challenge.
A mix up of florals in dainty shades of yellow, pale blue, soft pink and edgy navy covered this midi dress. Pairing any of these colours would be best, and I chose to accentuate pink by way of my pink stiletto boots, borrowed bag, denim jacket and finally an interesting chiffon scarf in baby pink too.
Buttons down the front and a delicate little tie belt are features on the dress as is the pretty frill that runs down from the shoulder, which is a flattering arm detail.
No brainer than to wear my lovely jean jacket over it. I simply love wearing the casual denim and can't wait for the weather to improve so I can wear it more often!

Now it's my companions turn, shall we see how Hilda, Anna, Gail and Emma have attacked this task.
Introducing Gail - Is This Mutton. She's shared a double whammy with her jacket and matching top that wasn't even bought from the same shop! A blue and green number definitely to be seen in!
Let's take a look at Emma's choice. A statement dress if ever I saw one, and the icing on the cake that furry, fluffy neck scarf - just what you need in that biting wind. Check out all the details on her blog Style Splash.
Next it's Hilda's turn. She's gone all 70's in her mini skirt and knee high boots - most definitely Flower Power to the max! See more from Hilda on her blog - Over the Hilda.
Finally here's how Anna - Anna's Island Style tackled the prompt. Another blue and green combination, whoever said blue and green should never be seen surely didn't see how well they went together because it certainly 'powered up' Anna's outfit don't you think?
So pleased you joined us today - we love sharing our styles with you.
Do come back on Thursday for the #Chicandstylish #LINKUP.
