White Culottes for Autumn - #Chiandstylish #LINKUP

I feel a change is coming in the Mummab household, my grand-kids are back to school and pre-school today and fear it wont be long until my daughter & family are reaping the benefits of family help and settling into their new home.  I won't lie I'm not looking forward to it & will be sad to see my 'big girl' move out for the second time! Saving grace they are literally 5 mins down the road, I'll be getting pay-back for all the time they've spent at mine - lol!

Last month I showed you an impressive pair of white cropped culottes.  Thinking they'd be suitable for wearing in the new season I set about styling them for when the temperatures drop, fortunately the weather was agreeable - so the jumper and boots were a welcomed addition when we took these photos!
Layering is key when weather is so changeable, little tee shirts under a blouse with a jacket or cardigan over the top caters for all temperatures.  I didn't need a cami under this, but come chilly days a nude shade will work a treat.  I've also got in mind a couple of jackets that will keep me warm too!  Monday's aztec number will be a cute little option.

This is so me!  I love the neatness and the easy to wear style.  I picked the jumper up in Matalan last year, I was drawn to the frills on the neck and around the cuffs.  The feminine feel is continued by the crochet pattern - it's quite a statement piece and I love it paired with jeans too.

I just knew the bag I would use to compliment today's look - this fun bag from Ted Baker was picked by hubby last Christmas, and I've been reminded he picked it himself - no help from my girls.  What a lucky lady to have someone who knows what I like. 😃

It's such a statement piece isn't it!  How often do you see a round handbag?  Don't the tortoise shell handles look effective too.  There's also a half leather, half chain long handle making it a delectable piece of arm candy.

Two people commented on how nice my bag was, one even complimented me at the fact it matched my outfit!!! Errr, that's why I picked it!!! Lol

You've seen the boots before - they have proved invaluable since I got them.  I've certainly got my money's worth as they've been worn at least twice every week last Winter.  I'm pleased they will be at the forefront of my outfits as they are so supportive on my feet & still look elegant and sophisticated.  I'm thinking of up-grading them - so watch this space to see what I find!  These are fun from Mint Velvet/Next.
