Summer Skirt Styled for Autumn - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Morning my friends.
How are you?
I'm excited and nervous to say I'm hopefully in a ballet class as we speak! Yikkes.  I'll keep you informed as to how it goes.  I've had the assessment pack so know exactly what I should be doing and the class has been split into two so's the right amount of bodies are in the room.  My body and mind is ready for it now and I can't wait for this little bit of normality to resume.

With temperature dropping it's been nice to wear season appropriate clothes hasn't it? I've worn jackets on a few occasions as well as long sleeved tops - jumpers are still a bit too warm for me, but today's outfit will be a pleasure to wear when it does turn!

I've wanted a maxi for a while and found this pretty floral skirt in Primark - they have a big selection for Autumn, but they seem to sell out quickly and have a fast turnover.  I wore this in Summer with little tee shirts which looked cool and figured a jumper will take it through to the next season and possibly beyond!

I'm always drawn to a paisley print and my maxi is scattered with flowers too.  The muted shades of blue, beige, yellow and brown will harmonize perfectly with Autumns golden tones.  Although not my favourite season it's one I love.  It's nice to emulate the surroundings and living in a rural area there's plenty of nature's inspiring foliage, trees and flowers to see.  Catch when I wore Autumn Floral's here.

This old H & M jumper is a tad bigger than I would like, it has a huge amount of knit that's quite bulky to be tucked in, I probably won't wear it again, this one will possibly be better because it's got a fitted hem.

I pulled out tan from the print and wore my Lotus boots that were gifted last year.  It's a great way to prolong the life of a summery outfit - by wearing boots and thick tights.  The height is perfect for everyday wear and although you can't see them there's two stylish buckles on the side.  I've worn them with skinnies too - roll on Autumn apparel.

A heart necklace and off white bag completed this look today - although with temperature reaching highs of 18 Degrees today a little tee shirt would have been the better option! How mother nature likes to keep us on our toes!
