How you doing?
Well my dress is ready as are my shoes, bag and fascinator - my nails are being painted today and I'm just waiting for the big day to arrive, my son gets married tomorrow! It's been long awaited since being postponed in June and although it's been reduced to only 15 family members I've got my fingers crossed they'll have a wonderful day. I'll be sharing my outfit on the blog soon, so hope you'll stop back to check it out.
I'm sharing another neutral outfit on the blog today. You've seen all these pieces in the past, but not together. When I got my culottes I knew they'd have plenty of options & I really love biscuit and navy together. You can see two previous looks here with a sunflower top & here with my new top from H & M.
You can see I've touched base with my previous three-colour-rule, and I have to admit it's looking a bit... well .. plain I think! I know there's some interesting bits like the frills, flowers on my sandals and the patent bag but I feel it still needs a bit more je ne sais pas. Maybe a pattern or another colour - what would you suggest my friends?
Isn't my bag gorgeous! Hubby picked it from our local Fenwick's and it's another well chosen Christmas present, he's good at that. 😀
Anyway, let me tell you a little about today's ensemble. The blouse is a previous gift from Bonmarche, as were the culottes, and being such a wearable silky top it's complimented my white jeans, jeans, skirts and culottes and the frill detail really caught my eye as it's just so feminine. Being a long sleeved top it's perfect for this season, and I could still pop a little cami under it when the temperatures drop further!
I've teamed navy sandals that were a previous gift too. You can read all about them here and don't they make a great match with my neutral crops! I can't tell you how comfortable and easy to wear they are - I've popped them on for just running to the shops - literally running they're that good. ☑️ I've just seen they've been greatly reduced to £25 which is a fantastic price for something of such good quality - AND they're available in tan. ☑️
Isn't my bag gorgeous! Hubby picked it from our local Fenwick's and it's another well chosen Christmas present, he's good at that. 😀 This Bulaggi bag boasts two deep pockets with a zipped separate compartment in the middle. It has a main zip across the top and inside another side pocket and phone pocket too. It's a walnut brown giraffe print that has an appealing lock and key addition. A bag I use every once in a while and always takes center stage with a nice comment of two. I've found this similar shopping bag that ticks all the boxes for me.

Congratulations on your son's wedding, Jacqui, hope you all have a wonderful and memorable day. Love your outfit a lot, the blouse is very pretty and will go well with many different types of pants or skirts. The culottes are very well cut and fit you perfectly. Enjoy the big event

Your bag is absolutely stunning, Jacqui! Hubby chose well. And I think this outfit is really pretty and classically chic the way it is. If you wanted to add a print or something, I might only go with a small neckerchief maybe even just on your purse strap or around your wrist. These colors are so pretty together and perfect for fall.
