What you up to?
Keep your ears covered if you don't want to hear about the 'C' word - no not Covid the other one!
Christmas is literally just around the corner and I've started to buy some presents! With half price toy sales going on all over the show I thought it would be a good time to start. I have bought four already and am planning more shopping trips in the coming days to make sure I have the majority bought by the end of November - let's see how that pans out!
If you'd joined me over the past couple of weeks you'll have seen I've been embracing the neutral-shades-bus. I'm still not convinced they are really 'me' but for the time being I'm going with it.
I know they've been on repeat since I got them, but quite honestly these trousers are just perfect for the seasons changing temperatures.
Last week I teamed a navy blouse over them and before that they pulled together my lightweight trench and new floral top
Today I've picked my gorgeous Chanel style jacket which has biscuit flecks as well as pale coral tones too. I wore a matching blush top that has to be a mainstay of my wardrobe ( - along with the other shades I own - cream, black and bright yellow), I wish I'd bought more colours as they have so much to offer.
Who wouldn't love a Chanel jacket in their wardrobe or a Chanel anything for that matter, alas until I get one this Hobbs jacket will be a fabulous stand-in. Hubby found it one Christmas and it's been a winning addition to many an outfit. Flecks make this work hard with a multitude of other colours and you can see I've worn it on many outings in the past - you can check them out here styled with Black and pale pink, topping grey trousers & deep coral & looking very feminine in a cream pleated skirt.
Now have you spotted my delicious shoes? I'm still on the fence about this particular shoe, it's a tad too big, but I was worried a smaller size wouldn't fit! If I wear tights with them they are sure to be too big! I'm not convinced these are the ones for me, however it's too late to return them so you'll probably see them again. 😉 These are a good alternative as mine were in the Next sale for £7.

Very nice look! I think those shoes look pretty good. I was also thinking of Christmas presents already, lol. But I have only Gerben to shop for! Ha ha, that's easier.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to suit those classy neutrals as much as you do the jewel colours Jacqui, you lucky girl. I love a Chanel type jacket! xx

ReplyDeleteYour neutrals do work beautifully with the darker mix jacket. Pity about the shoes , hoe they don,t stretch further. You are organised , I can't think about Christmas yet as our family has many November birthdays. Many thanks for hosting Jacqui.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit, Jacqui! I love the Chanel inspired jacket and your shoes are really pretty! Can you put inserts in them to make them fit a little better?
