Cool and Casual in the Boyd High Top Trainer from Van-Dal.

Morning all.
Well that's us in Tier 4, didn't realise it went up that high!!!  So I'm feeling well and truly fed up now, how about you?  I was planning on getting my last minute presents ( I know I had planned to have everything done) today, but Covid and Mr Johnson had other ideas.  So I've been doing what I hate....online shopping.  It's just not the same as seeing something in the shops and just buying is it!  So by the end of today what I haven't got quite frankly is tough!
I've been doing so much running around lately these new trainers have been a god-send.  So pleased when Van-Dal Shoes and I collaborated again with this trendy pair of trainers. The Boyd high-top trainer in black and leopard print are so easy to walk in, don't rub or give any pain and look bang on trend. I absolutely adored wearing these white sandals way back in the hot weather and these are no different. X
Don't you just love the Boyd* high-top trainer in black and leopard print or you might prefer the conker & animal print version!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

I wanted to fill the space in my wardrobe for black or dark trainers and these from Van-Dal shoes just fitted the bill perfectly.  With a blast of leopard print on the back what more could I wish for!
Cool and casual are my top words for the on-trend trainer I'm sharing.  They look so good with my faux leather jeans, so feel my dabble with edgy fashion is spot on!
Boyd is offered in sizes 36 - 42, I picked a 40 - they come up slightly smaller than usual as I would normally be a 61/2, but these fit perfectly.
Faux leather is still all the rage isn't it and I'm pleased I bought these last year as they are still in fashion.  I'm embracing my inner rock chic for this look and I picked my stretchy leopard print top to complete the vibe.  I continued my edgy trend with a long line trench coat. This lightweight version has been gaining points all over the show, it's a good cover-up for jeans, palazzo's & importantly faux leather.

Love the long arm length of the roll neck, they cover my hands and look like fingerless gloves, for when gloves aren't around this worked really well.  You can see another outfit styling the turtle neck top with a red pleated skirt - just right for Christmas Day. 💝

Cool and casual are my top words for the on-trend trainer I'm sharing.

Glad you could join me today, I appreciate your time as I know how precious it is.
Have a super Christmas and enjoy it as best you can.  We all have to make the most of what we have and I for one definitely will.
There won't be the #Chicandstylish #LINKUP on Thursday, but I'll be back next Monday with the final installment from Style not Age collective - we will be 'Out and About' so do stop back for that one.
Esther Ruby took today's photos - many thanks darling.
I'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas whatever you do.
Bye for now. X

  2. Love this outfit, Jacqui! I've always loved the rock chick look and you've nailed it.
It's always fabulous to find a pair of trainers that are so comfortable!
We came over to the UK last week and now we're stuck in Tier 4 too so we can't even leave the house after our obligatory five day isolation (with a test)! But we're not letting it get us down.
    Merry Christmas, Jacqui!
    Lots of love

  5. Super cute trainers, Jacqui! I love this outfit for out running errands. And what a bummer that everything locked down so abruptly. Even ordering online has been a challenge as our postal service and other delivery companies are totally overwhelmed. We sent cards and gifts to people weeks ago that haven't even left the local post office yet. When we check the tracking, things get scanned in and sit at the local distribution center for 10-14 days before they even get shipped out. So they certainly are not going to arrive by Christmas. It definitely adds to the frustrations! I hope you have a relaxing Christmas and can enjoy it despite the craziness!

  7. Have a wonderful Christmas! I do love these trainers, they are fun with the leopard back. I do miss my black Nike trainers. I wore them with a lot. This year I have worn my white sneakers a lot but it is definitely harder to keep them clean.

  8. Jacqui we are heading into tier 5 tomorrow night. So complete lockdown again. No visits from anyone not in your bubble. We look after to grandchildren one day a week, so we have to see them. But it all sucks. We have to believe we will get through it. Love those boots. Very comfy.

  10. I love those trainers Jacqui! The whole outfit is very stylish. This revised tier system has really put a spanner in the works hasn't it? I really wanted to visit my mum but that's been scuppered now.
