Well what have you been up to?
I'm so excited as hubby and I have been decorating the spare room. I've wanted a walk-in dressing room and have a stunning one planned on our new build but simply can't wait for that to happen. So once the children moved out we've been hard at work painting and decorating arranging carpets, wardrobes, curtains and the ever popular Billy Bookcase from Ikea (so popular apparently one is sold every 5 seconds 🤯) Once it's all finished I'll share some piccys with you as I've got a real statement piece that I'm thrilled with. x
I didn't post much in November but what I did share I'm condensing for you in today's post -
November Review
At the beginning of November I joined forces with Gail - Is This Mutton in styling skirts for 7 days. I really enjoyed this challenge and found my love for wearing skirts had not ebbed. Catch the seven skirts I favoured here.
I was happy to share some face masks with you in mid November. The Rudi Masks have taken a prominent position in my outfit choices recently - with nearly a different one for each of my looks. Here's a couple of my favourites and if we have to wear them they may as well be trendy & matching!
My second to last blog post featured a last-minute look I wasn't too sure about. Pattern mixing is very much out of my box and a look I don't often choose. But wow I got some lovely feed-back from you all and am looking to include more of these mix-ups in the future. I get plenty of inspiration from ladies like Anna - Anna's Island Style and Catherine - Not Dressed as Lamb, if you're not familiar with these two fabulous bloggers do take a look! Oh and do pop back to this post and let me know what you think of my play with patterns. X
Finally I ended the month with a look that I hope to be seeing more of in the next month. We all need picking up at the moment and I was excited to embrace sequins and sparkle. I had in mind a beautiful electric blue sequined cocktail dress, but alas when I got it out I found it had shrunk whilst in storage! How rude!!! Lol. So this sparkly little top proved a worthy stand-in for the challenge. I wore it over wide leg trousers and felt this comfy little number could be worn on numerous occasions in the future - let's pray some of them will involve actually going out, out!!!
Thank you to each an everyone who has stopped by over the past month, it means a lot and I hope you'll leave me a message to let me know what you think.
Much appreciation to Esther Ruby for taking these photos.
Don't forget to join me on Thursday for the #Chicandstylish #LINKUP
Bye bye for now. X
Ooh! How cool about the painting and rearranging going on at your house. Will look forward to those pics! You shared some beautiful outfits this past month. Interestingly, your pattern mix was my favorite, although none of your outfits ever disappoint.
