Mom Jeans - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Morning my friends.

How are you all doing?

Seems crazy to think we had some "almost" nice weather at the beginning of the week, but it's so cold now, with a biting wind and grey skies!  

I met up with a friend for coffee and a scone yesterday - it was a very chilly walk along the beach and we both welcomed the sheltered area where we sat, ate, drank and chatted.  We decided that when we are allowed to enter premises to have a meal or a drink Mother Nature will be there sticking two fingers up as we'll be sweltering in the heat and clambering for outdoor tables - lol.

Anyhow ... this is what I wore, basically I just changed to skinny jeans and ugg boots (boy did I need them)!

Jeans never fail do they?  I Have recently added these to my collection.  Not quite what I was looking for, but the Mom jeans from M & S have turned out to be quite a sensible addition as I feel so relaxed in them.  They are not a normal choice for me as I would turn to something slightly more fitted, but the causal style has worked well with loads of my jumpers and tops,

I paired them with my ancient pale blue jumper.  I actually bought this for my daughter years ago for a Christmas present, but it was too big for her.  I had planned to take it back to H & M where I bought it from but you know how it goes I tried it on and hey presto kept it!  Looks super don't you think ... are you a fan of the ruffles on the sleeves and neck?

I picked trainers for this look, but really do need another plain pair - maybe with a more chunky sole.  These have a flash of leopard print on the side and don't fit every outfit, but they are cracking to wear. 

Trainers are a valuable little gem that not only look good with jeans, but look smashing with dresses and skirts too.  Are you a fan of trainers?  

The weather was playing havoc with my scarf and hair for these shots - we need the sunshine and calmer weather now don't we!!!

Mixed it up with a Chanel-esque bag to bring a bit of classic style. (This is similar) I'm on the hunt for more bags - something like this but a bit bigger - let me know if you see any!
