Pleated Skirt with Mustard Accents and Lotus Shoes Wedges.

Hello and welcome to my blog.
It's aimed at ladies over 50, but quite honestly everyone is welcome!

How's your weekend been?
The weather certainly didn't let us down this weekend, with temperatures soaring into the 30'S at times I just had to sit in shade ( I know who actually am I - lol).
Friday night my ballroom dancing had me tangoing into the weekend with flair & energy.  This was the first time I'd learnt any Tango steps and I really enjoyed the twists and flicks.  It's a work in progress but it's nice to push yourself every once in a while eh!

Saturday was garden day!  Hubby and I spent most of the day cutting hedges and generally tidying up the drive.  We cleaned up and headed over to my daughters to watch the Formula 1 Sprint Race and The Open (which is down the road at Royal St Georges in Sandwich.)  I'm enjoying watching golf more and more over the past few years, and am starting (slowly) to grasp the rules!  It may be a sport I'd like to learn one day, although I don't think I'd be any good at it .... I struggle with Crazy Golf!!! 😆

I enjoyed not cooking on Sunday ... going to my daughters for a BBQ was heaven.  The family were also there so we had a nice few hours soaking up the sun and putting the world to rights - we decided we needed a pool of some description, but had to settle on dunking our feet in plastic boxes full of cold water .... ha ha ha. 😍
Wearing shorts and a bikini top I figured photos of this wasn't going to make the blog, but here's what did!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

The pleated skirt and complimentary top was an outfit I actually wore last week.  I'd normally wear neutrals with the Primark midi but felt like adding a bit of colour.  The mustard tee shirt I'd teamed with the cardigan worked nicely.  I tied at the front as leaving it hanging didn't look right.  Nothing was new here, all the items except my sandals were shopped from my wardrobe.  Read on to find out more about my gifted sandals from Lotus Shoes.

I'm obsessed with wearing a necklace when I can, & try to find something different when I'm out shopping or away on holiday.  This beaded beauty was picked up in Venice - renowned for the pretty glass beads I came home with a couple of strings, and this was one of them, just wished I'd bought home a few more!

My neutral cream Moschino bag deserves a mention too.  Hubby's present for my birthday and I'm just smitten with it.  It ticks all the boxes for me and I love each and every time I use it - how good does it look with today's outfit?

Let me share a bit more detail about my Primrose sandals* from Lotus Shoes.  This nude sandal had me in a tizz as soon as they arrived.  The wedge is a brilliant addition to my summer wardrobe.  They'll bring a dressier side to many of my looks and will keep comfort by my side by being so easy to wear.  They have a faux front buckle in a fashionable reptile print which compliments the nude leather sandals with style and ease.  Available in UK sizes 3 - 8 and fit true to size.
These £45 Summer beauties are also available in four other colour choices: navy, tan and white and have an array of matching animal patterns to take them up a level!

Good to have you stop by today, I really do appreciate your support.
Catch you again on Thursday for the new #LINKUP.
Have a super weekend.
Bye, bye. X
