A Ray of Sunshine Yellow - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hello my lovely friends.

How are you all?

Been a very strange week for me so far, you see I'm sitting on Jury Service and have come home everyday with a brain like mush (nothing new there people that know me will say).  It's been an interesting situation and I can't say I'm enjoying it really.  You see I haven't been to 'proper' work since before I had my first child ... she's 33 now so It's all been a bit of a shock to the system.  I've had to get up early for a reason!  I usually get up fairly early, but it's not the same when you don't have to be somewhere is it!  

Concentrating has also been a hard one for me too, I'm usually engrossed in blogging of some description or scrolling through IG .... and having not been able to get on there much am really missing it. 

Last week this was the outfit I picked to wear when it was much cooler to actually wear jeans.  With warmer weather enveloping us at the moment I'm not sure when I'll be wearing jeans again!

Who likes wearing white jeans?  I'm a big fan of pairing white with a nice bright shade, so it's no surprise I chose this radiant yellow tunic top last week.  I wanted to entice the sun, which I did really well some ten minutes after taking these shots .... seems it worked so well I managed to lure the sun and heat over the past few days too .... it's been so hot hasn't it?  Just the right weather for sitting in court eh!

Bonmarche kindly gifted this beauty to me and as they didn't have it in vibrant pink this was a fabulous alternative.  I love the comfortable style of it and feel it goes so well with my jeans, but would also be great over a traditional blue jean too.  It's an over-sized tunic* that seemed a tad too baggy for me in my usual size, so I tried a smaller one instead.  Love the outcome of that and hey who doesn't like to show off in a smaller size ... 😊

There's a choice of four other shades that the top is available in.  They are all interesting shades like coral and turquoise & would look super cute with white jeans like mine, and for the price of £18 the machine washable fancy top is an excellent buy for warmer Autumn days.

Have you spotted my shoes?  You may have seen them before.  I call them my rainbow shoes (these are similar) for obvious reasons.  I rescued them for the charity pile when my daughter decided she didn't want them anymore.  They always create a stir when I wear them and look great with so much.  You can see when I styled them with a black lace dress and with my denim jumpsuit and orange biker jacket.
