Dior Dupe! - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Morning all.
How you doing?
A really chilly Mummab today, well all week really.  It's like I have a switch inside me that changed from being hot all the time to being cold.  I really wish my temperature controller worked better!!

I had a trip into town to collect a Next parcel on Monday, I also came home with a couple of bits I'd bought whilst out.  Guess what! The two items from Next will have to go back as the court shoes were too small & very heigh and the jeans were totally the wrong style.  I didn't have much luck with the skirt I picked up in Primark either.  To be fair I should have known it wouldn't be right as it's that bias cut style, not really one that suits my pear shape, so all will have to be returned.  I did come home with this cute bag from H & M  (This one is green and black, but mine is black and cream).  It's a copy of the trendy Dior tote and I'm over the moon with it!

I decided to plan this outfit around my new bag. I'd seen a few IG accounts featuring similar looking bags and loving the style wanted to find my own.  Wandering around H & M the other day I spotted the Dior dupe and somehow it managed to come home with me ... 🤷. I think the price tag of £25 was the nudge I needed!

I wondered about pairing it with a black dress or jeans, but settled on these flattering wide leg trousers I had hanging in the wardrobe.  You've seen these before worn with a chain link blouse, and styled for the SNA challenge - What I'd wear in the Frow,
I added another item from H & M by way of this skinny silky long sleeved jumper.  I adore the feel of it and the neutral shade will enhance loads of other items I already own.  My jacket has been a triumph since I found it in the Wallis sale ... for only £20 it's been worth it's weight in gold and supported so many outfits.  I adore that it's long enough to cover my bum ... it just makes every outfit complete. This one is very similar online now.

Scarf season has finally arrived, I say finally because I love adding them into the mix, but find the Summer weather too hot to include them.   Mine is a square which isn't always easy to style.  I like to fold in half diagonally, twist and then tie a knot which I turn to the side.  A finishing touch that gives an elegant and classy feel.

Here's a close up of my delicious bag.  I do love a big bag, I like to be able to just chuck everything in!
It has one little zip up pocket inside and is fully lined.  You'll be seeing lots and lots of this stylish bag, so I hope you don't get fed up of it ... lol.

Sorry you have to return the pieces you ordered as they didn't work for you though! It's always a pain when that happens!

  6. Very chic neutral look on you, Jauqui! Love your new bold houndstooth bag. I find internet shopping a bit frustrating, too. Seeing and touching an item in person makes all the difference! Have a good weekend and thanks for the link up party!
