Pink and Tan ... it Works - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Morning my friends.
Hope you are all well.
Anyone else feeling really tired lately?  I seem to feel completely exhausted most of the time and could literally fall asleep!  I've just started a new fitness class -  Absolute Abs, that's on top of the Cycle class I do, so that might be the reason - ha ha!

Today you find me styling pink again, actually pink with tan - It's a combination I seen lots of times before but never actually tired it.  What do you think?

I'm back again with my fabulous wide leg trousers.  I've fallen in love with these and can't get enough of them.  I've already worn them with a striking pink leopard print blouse and now I want to show them paired with tan accents.  The accents I'm talking about are tan court shoes, my unusual round bag and a patterned jumper.

I added a bit of interest with another layer.  The extra layer in question is my Bias Cut shirt.
The cotton shirt is a glorious fit and the fish net pattern is certainly one I've worn time and time again over the past few years - it's been a worthwhile addition.
It has a nice stretch to the fabric which has help enormously throughout my yo-yo weight fluctuation - lol.  I topped it with this cute little knitted top.  I picked this up in the Next sale when it was on offer with a bargain price tag of £6.  I love the subtle cable design and the 3/4 sleeves.  These sleeves also have a nice little balloon detail.

My Ted Baker round bag always gets lots of comments.  The tortoise handles are also round and although it's a small bag it's got plenty of character.

  3. I love this color combination, Jacqui! I never would have thought to pair pink and tan together but I really like it. I have a new pair of light tan faux leather joggers that have me stumped for styling, but I think pink might just be the very thing I need! You look amazing in these fabulous pink trousers and I am loving your round TB bag!

  10. What gorgeous pink trousers, I love them! Oh gosh yes I think everyone is feeling really tired, I have had a bad cold too which hasn't helped. My son had covid a few weeks ago and is still very tired and my daughter struggled after both vaccines. None of it is good! Rest up! Love Michelle x

  11. Your bag really does have character, Jacqui! And I love that color combo--especially with those hot pink wide leg trousers. I've been wearing mine more often, too. They are just so comfy and you feel pretty cool wearing them, right? Happy Thursday.

  13. Your abs class sounds fun, but exhausting! Ha! I just got a rower and it is amazing what it is doing for my abs... Pink and tan is so pretty together! I think the only time I've tried these colors together is when I've paired my brownish leopard print top with my pink cardi!

  17. Love the bright pink of your trousers, Jacqui. Adding neutral colour is a great idea as its softens the vibrancy of the trousers and add elegance to the look.
