Lovely to have old and some new followers, it's great to have you join.
It seems like only yesterday I was sharing my November post's and now in the blink of an eye I'm telling you about my December Review.
Since returning from my holiday to Abu Dhabi (post soon) and my break to Loch Awe I was in 'full on getting ready for Christmas' mode.
My daughters' helped by getting some gifts sorted and I had a few days shopping in stores (the ones when your legs hurt from too much walking & yours arms ache from carrying too many bags and you just want to be watching the telly with a Prosecco!) I also did plenty of on-line shopping which, although I hate, proved so much easier - I feel defeated to say that but it was!
If you read my post on Bank Holiday Monday you'll know my day didn't go to plan, as like many of you we were hit by an un-welcomed present of Covid. My son is back to normal now and back to work, and fortunately no-one else in the family caught it - thank god!
I was lucky to receive a gorgeous coat from Bonmarche and have loved styling it over the past few weeks. I tend to wear neutral coats but every year I vow to pick a brighter option to add to my collection, but it never seems to happen, maybe this will be the year to change. Anyway have a look at my salt and pepper grey version that has a cool neck detail and shiny buttons. X
Post's were a bit thin on the ground due to being so busy, but I did share a cute little vest top with you for my next post. I found it in Oban in the New Look there - it was pouring with rain and I was on the lookout for some white boots, I didn't find any in the wet town so after a trip to the Distillery and a couple of pub visits I returned to the hotel with this fancy cable knit.
I shared an interesting post about a blogger friend from America for my At Home With ... series. My blogger pal Jess shared some facts, figures and dates, & a stylish collection of photos from her blog Elegantly Dressed & Stylish. Do pop over for an enjoyable read about her fashion and lifestyle.
Style not Age ladies set about my prompt and were getting ready for New Years Eve with their Little Black Numbers. I picked this cutie that I wore in Abu Dhabi and would happily wear it for a night out with friends for the last night of the year. What did you end up wearing and doing?
My final post was all about a new dress. This abstract midi from Roman Originals played right into my hands, as all my boxes were ticked! Well just have a look at this beauty, who wouldn't like this in their wardrobe?
Good to have you stop by, thanks so much my lovely friends.
See you for a brand new #Chicandstylish #LINKUP on Thursday.
Cheerio. X
I think I might have seen that lovely blue dress on Instagram and adored it, right? And that black one is just the perfect choice for Abu Dhabi. Hope you enjoyed and how lucky you were not to catch the virus. Glad your son's well again.
