Bright Pink Shirt Love - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hello my friends.
How you doing?
Not much to report here, I'm staying pretty quiet until my skiing trip with only going to classes and a couple of shops.  I don't need to replace any clothing for skiing, and have enough casual bits to take with me so I don't need anything new.  The only thing I wanted to get is a pair of white boots.  I ordered some from River Island which came and are lovely, the only problem is that they are a little bit too big - guess what?  Smaller size is out of stock - typical!  I'm hoping they might be back on in time to get them and go away!

Whilst I was looking in town the other week I did come across this stunning blouse from Primark.
Silky satin tops are on trend at the moment, and you simply can't go wrong with a plain blouse - especially when it's a delicious colour like this!

I love to wear pink, but don't have much in my wardrobe to support that!  So when I saw this the other day I figured it would be a good investment, and even though it was quite cheap it looks good quality and being satin will keep it's pristine look for longer.

So what to pair it with?  Well it's one of those tops that can be dressed up and also dressed down!
Did you catch my reel on IG featuring it?  So far I've teamed it with chocolate culottes, black leggings and vest top, and my casual look today .... over jeans with a trendy front tie.

It's a nice long length that can be slipped inside my trousers or can double as a jacket.  Ladies are tying shirts in all sorts of different ways now, so I might have a play around with those ideas.
My jeans are a fairly recent buy from River Island, and I may sound like a broken record but there jeans are fabulous.  I've got four pairs now, all different and all brilliant quality.  Probably the best jeans I've found, do tell if you have any experience with their jeans, or where do you get yours from?

My trainers, you've seen on many occasions, but they are so easy to wear, very comfortable and give a street edge without being too much - just perfect for an over 50 year old!! Lol.
Popped this little clutch bag with the outfit, but really there's so many other colours and styles that would look equally as good.  Cream or neutral tan would be perfect too.

  3. Ooh Jacqui, this is a really pretty top. I love the shiny silk that is trending right now. I used to have a rainbow of colors in silk blouses when I had a corporate job. They were some of my favorite pieces to wear! I love how you styled this with jeans and trainers. And the shade of pink is so gorgeous on you!

  7. HI Jacqui! it has been a bit quiet here too. January is never my favorite month, I imagine I would appreciate it more if I skied or did a snow sport. Pretty blouse! i love the pink with a lighter denim like you are wearing.
    Have a great day!
