Chocolate and Leopard Print - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hi there my friends.
How you all doing?

Well I'm on cloud nine.
You may have seen on Instagram that finally my grand .... daughter has arrived!  Yes a girl to even up the numbers.  Not only that my granddaughter is over the moon about having a sister to love and spoil.  She's only 7 and has a cousin that she adores (she likes the boy cousins she likes as well) but wanted a sister to share the laughs and special times with ... now she has her wish. 💕

I looked after the three of them whilst they were in hospital and it certainly does keep you on your toes, I was shattered and wonder how I managed to bring up 5 of my own!!! Well I was a lot younger then, lol!

Today's outfit came about after a little play around with Instagram's reels - have you attempted them yet? (that's if you're on IG).
I love when the house is empty and I can have a look at my clothes and work out some reels as I go - this one has been a favourite of mine recently.

My H & M blouse is featured on another reel today where I've styled it 7 ways.  I'll pop a link to it if you'd like to see.
Anyway the shirt, as I previously mentioned, came from H & M and I picked it up along with a cream version whilst on my holiday last November.  Leopard print is never out of fashion and I'm always drawn towards it when out shopping.  Not only do I like leo print but any sort of animal pattern suits my style and I like to incorporate it when I can.  Are you a wearer of the animal design?  Do share your favourites.

I love a bargain price and this is right up my alley costing a mere £19.99.  It's an over-sized style that has two pockets on the chest.  It also has long sleeves with button and cuff and the rounded hem line hangs slightly longer at the back.  I tucked it into the culottes and although there was plenty of material it's hidden quite well I think.

I've had the trousers for a couple of years now, but they still look as good as new.  They are the softest faux leather and feel great on the skin.  The length is just right for wearing boots under them, mine are finishing just below the knee but ankle boots would look equally as good.

  15. Congratulations on the birth of your new granddaughter! I cannot imagine raising five kiddos! I had three and was worn out! And, I would be utterly exhausted watching three of them now! My three grands are all tweens so they pretty much entertain themselves!
