Another Wedding, Another Izabel Dress - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hello and welcome to my blog.
So pleased you have found me today.

A couple of Saturday's ago I went to the third wedding of the year.  With many people choosing to postpone their weddings due to Covid we had three to attend, none for many years and three come along in a row, a bit like buses as the saying goes.

I needed a new dress and managed to find one from the company I'd got my two previous outfits from and you can see the gifted dress I wore first, and then the one I bought for my daughter's friends wedding.  I was so impressed with the quality and literally fell head over heels for this pretty pink & white tiger print midi.

Izabel London have a stunning selection of dresses suitable for many occasions, and I was delighted when they asked me to review a couple more.  I'd had my eye on this blue maxi and couldn't wait to get my hands on it - do let me know what you think of it my friends.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

As I mention above I had my eye on the paisley print over this maxi* since I looked for my previous dresses and vowed if I didn't find anything better I'd be getting this one - gifted or not!  Luckily for me I didn't find one, so when I was asked to pick another item I put this one at the top of my list.  I've another to share with you, but have taken it away with me, so will show it off next week - it's a pretty green halterneck and will be spot on for my beach holiday.

Are you a maxi wearer?  There's something about the swishy-ness of them that I love.  I find them so feminine and chic to wear.  The colours of it are very elegant, blue and mink work very well together and with the addition of cream made it easy to find accessories.  The cap sleeves, which have a little frill, were a godsend as the wedding was on one of the hottest days in July.  I also appreciated the v neck line and floaty material which wafted about as I walked.

It has a nice little elastic waistband meaning I could pull the dress on over my head.  I also loved the pale blue crochet insert giving a flash of leg as did the front split.

I needed a comfortable pair of sandals and found some in New Look in the sale which matched beautifully and although they started off very comfortable, by the end of the night I couldn't wait to take them off, but after a day on my feet and dancing till late into the night, that was to be expected I think and they did well.

The beaded bag has been around for a good few years and makes a suitably blingy addition to the wedding outfit.  My fascinator was the same one I wore with my other long dress, it's a neutral shade of beige and will probably be worn by one or other family member or friend in the coming months years as it goes with nearly every colour I think.

One last thing to say about the dress is the sizing is spot on, so order your usual size and with your first order there's 15% off making my dress just under £39!
