A Navy Padded Coat for Winter - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hello and welcome to the blog.
Huge apologies for being so late today!

Wow 1st December has finally arrived and all I ask is "Have you finished you Christmas Shopping"?
I'm feeling smug as I'm getting it done slowly and surely.  This is the best I've done over the past few years, so I'm on target to get everything done in time to really enjoy the run up properly.
I want to be enjoying the Christmas films in a relaxed state with a glass in my hand and wrapped presents under the tree.  The only thing I want to be worrying about is where to spend Christmas Eve lol!

I've been a busy bee this week as I'm away tomorrow.  I'm off to the Black Forest in Germany. It will be my first visit to this European country and I'm looking forward to enjoying the scenery of Baden Baden, visiting the Christmas markets and the savouring the Bratwurst and dare I say the Jagermeister (I love a Jager-bomb so will be sure to have one or three when I'm there 😏!!!)  What else should I be looking out for, do let me know so I don't miss out!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

We are flying out with two friends and our other two friends will be driving there.  They are taking our suitcases for us, so we can avoid paying the excess for our luggage and take as much as we want/they can pack in the car!! Ha ha.

So I've decided on two shirt dresses, my knee length black boots, two pairs of jeans, two long blouses, one jumper and one tank top.  I added a few more bits to the case and I've also got a small, very small cabin bag with a few essentials in 'just in case'.
You know I have a penchant for buying something whilst I'm away to remind me of my visit, so I hope to be coming home with something fancy from the black forest region and will keep you posted as to what it will be!

I'm also taking this stunning coat*.  A girl can never have enough coats really so when Lands' End asked if I'd like to review one I simply jumped with joy.  There was so many different styles and colours it was hard to settle on one, but eventually I did.
This luxurious padded long length coat was my choice, it's filled a gap as most of my coats are short or very thin, this one is going to be perfect for colder weather and rainy days or dare I say snowy weather!

With the benefits of water resistant fabric, 600-fill Hyper Dry down insulation, detachable collar, two way zip, stretchy storm cuffs which are inset, hip pockets with poppers to fasten, it's machine washable and can be put in the tumble dryer (with tennis balls to help keep the down lofty) there's also an interior chest pocket.

I'm actually taking it with me tomorrow when I travel to Germany, I've been checking out the weather and it's likely to be quite chilly, especially as I want to check out the Christmas markets when I'm there.
I've also packed my faux leather jacket just in case we dine in a restaurant that's near the hotel, when I won't be outside for long, but if it's going to involve lots of walking - this dreamy coat will accompany me!

It's also available in 4 other colours and with a price point of £115 with this discount code 8FQA - definitely makes this coat a priority to buy right now!

I don't have many hats as I tend to get hat hair, but this little beany* will be coming with me to Baden Baden for sure, it's a stunning colour and if it's as cold as I think it will be I'll be needing it.
You can see me wearing my new coat and hat on Instagram and hope you'll pop over to have a look!
