How the heck are you?
Have you got into the festive mood yet? I'm definitely getting full of Christmas spirit and most probably plenty of Prosecco and Jager's too! I've had a weekend in Germany and will be travelling home today, let's hope the power of a scheduled post works and this is published!
It's the first Monday of the month, so as usual I'm sharing my posts from the past month in the ....
November Review.
At the beginning of November I was just getting over a really horrible chest infection, it was so bad I needed antibiotics which is almost unheard of for me. I'm very lucky and seem to get over colds and coughs really easily, but what started with a sore throat, cough and cold ended up in a full blown chest infection. Anyway I digress.
I went out for lunch with my sister and our mum for her birthday treat. We dined at a local venue having two courses and a couple of glasses of fizz. We had a super few hours and as usual put the world to rights as we ate and drank. I wore this snazzy Geo print dress that's covered in bright, bold shades of blue, black and cream. Do pop back and find out all about it.
Next post up, again I was with my mum but for Afternoon Tea this time.
This was an absolutely delightful in Deal, eating an amazing array of cakes, pasties with some unusual additions to the table like a mini Yorkshire pudding with beef and horseradish, a small cup of soup and breaded Brie bites. Totally mouth-watering, you can view the rest of the delicacies here and I'd thoroughly recommend visiting The Lane if you're ever in this neck of the woods!
It was lovely to style this leopard print skirt a bit different this time, I've usually worn it with black or grey so adding a red roll neck and jean jacket really did put it up a notch. It's got so much going on it turned out to be one of my favourites - do let me know what you think my lovely friends. X
Another dollop of red next. Isn't it funny how that happens. I hardly wear red, but wore it three times in a row - I like to wear it as it's such a positive colour and should definitely invest in more pieces! Come read about my gifted patterned skirt from Bonmarche and see what I mixed it with, it turned out a popular look. X
I changed it up with a navy and green outfit for the Women and Home Christmas event I went to. It was a brilliant day out and you can read about my afternoon, who I saw and more importantly who I met there.
Gifts for Dog Lovers next. I was chuffed to share my son's dog on the blog ... can you guess her name?
I'd like to introduce you to Halle Berry! 🐶
Final look on my blog was Spots and Stripes for the Style Not Age challenge. Each month four blogger friends and I share our ideas for a prompt set by one of us. Here's my outfit for November's challenge and if you click the link above you can view what Hilda, Gail, Anna and Emma picked. X
Catch you all again on Thursday for the lastest #Chicandstylish #LINKUP
Bye for now. X
