Hi there,
How are you all doing?
Another busy week so far with my gym classes back to normal, shopping in town and a meet-up with a friend for a catch up. This, mixed in with seeing the grand-kids and the usual chores it's been full on! Doesn't everything take so much longer now-a-days or is it just me? My local bank has closed down so a trip into town with countless road works, traffic lights & endless traffic made everything hard work.
On the plus side, whilst in town getting a battery for my watch, I did a bit of shopping and came home with a new pair of jeans and a fancy pair of suit trousers - if they look okay I might invest in the jacket as I've ALWAYS loved a trousers suit. You can see the only one I've ever had here back in 2019
Re-visiting that post I'm surprised at how long my hair was and noticed I was wearing these Vionic snakeskin shoes I'm sharing in today's post featuring my new khaki green coat.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
I'd got plans for this coat as soon as I saw it. I'd been kindly gifted it from Jenerique and was over the moon when it arrived!
The midi coat* is a double breasted style and fastens with buttons and a big tie belt. It has back split and big bold buttons. I like everything about this stunning coat and it slipped on a dream over my green concoction and looks a perfect addition to my wardrobe.
The Sketch coat is similar to a trench style and is very easy to wear over most things, the length sits in just the right place and the tie belt will cinch the waist in to give a lovely feminine shape. It's available in camel and black and any of these neutral shades makes it an easy to style coat with nearly all your clothes.
It's been reduced in the sale so is the stunning price of just under £53 - £53 for a full length, lined coat!! Incredible!!!
I knew I wanted to style the coat with my olive green shirt. It's an oversized style and looks good hanging loose or tucked in. I decided to use this TikTok hack and style it through the belt loops of my trousers - do let me know what you think. I grabbed my black faux leathers and was really pleased at how well they went together. Now for the accessories. It was a no-brainer to add my Vionic Snakeskin court shoes. I mentioned them earlier and really can't believe how long I've had them, they've lasted well and haven't dated at all, that's the beauty of a classic style isn't it!
So all that's left to say is about the necklace I wore. I actually tried about three before I decided on this one. They're beads on a long thread and seem to take on the colour, within reason, that I want to pair it with. Here it works well with my khaki green outfit, but I've also added it in the past to black, grey and red. Great to have all that choice from one necklace.
Lastly I grabbed my Valentino bag. David bought me this last Christmas and I'm pleased to have it in my collection and have used it loads of times over the past year - it's nice to have it as a choice. It has nice long handles that can go over the shoulder or just hold so it swings low. It also has loads of sections and pockets which is so helpful.
Cheers for joining me today, hope you'll add to my linkup.
