I'm thrilled you could make it today!
What have you been up to over the past week?
It's been full steam ahead for my new build with floor joists being fitted at the weekend along with the steel beams. It's really starting to take shape now, and the rooms downstairs are almost visible, with a bit of imagination and a lot of thought! David has been working hard on this particular part of the build with the help of some of the family. I've been trying to do my 'bit' by making drinks and sandwiches at every opportunity.
Sunday was as usual family day. Some of the family came round for a pork roast. Not something I'd usually pick, but I felt this might make a nice change and it certainly did. I put some carrots, onions and apple underneath the joint and poured a good amount of cider into the roasting tin which worked a treat keeping the meat moist and the crackling crunchy and made excellent gravy.
As it's the first Monday of the month I'm sharing what I blogged about last month for my ...
February Review.
At the start of the month I was showing off a very versatile shirt dress that's pattern is one of my favourites to wear, yes it's leopard print.
I found this beauty in the M & S sale for a bargain price of £18. You can find out all about my purchase friendly purchase over here.
In the next blog post of February I scheduled a post to publish whilst I was on the slopes of France when I went skiing with some of the family. This outfit was definitely not on the list to pack, but is one that you'll find me most at home in ... namely wide leg trousers and striking top.
I gave you a little insight into my skiing trip to Les Arcs next and explained a bit about where I went and what I got up to, with a couple of photos sharing what I wore. Skiing isn't a very dressy holiday so my jeans and silky tops were in abundance!
I came back from skiing to a lovely parcel from Tilletts Clothing and these beauties were included in the package. I'm smitten with pearls and these jeans just added to my enthusiasm for them - just look how pretty they look.
I'm having a bit of a love affair with tracksuits at the moment and was thrilled to find this one in the H & M sale recently, both pieces came to just over £30 so for the quality I reckon I've got a real bargain!
Finishing off the month with a Style Not Age challenge featuring Buttons. Once a month four friends set about styling an outfit based on a prompt set by one of us. You can see what the others wore here, and do let me know what you think of my trousers complete with button fastenings that got me noticed.
Thanks for stopping by, so pleased you could join me.
Have a great week and I'll see you on Thursday for the #Linkup.
Bye for now. X
How exciting for your new build! It was so fun to see the rooms of our new home taking shape! Your outfits were so good...especially that outfit with the wide grey legs and fun sweater! I hope you'll visit for Traffic Jam on Thursday and 10 on the 10th for a link party!
