How are you?
April already, and I hope the old saying "April Showers" doesn't ring true, we've had so much rain already I want the sun now! I've got some new skirts that I want to start wearing and I want to get out of my boots and into shoes too.
This week I've got to pack for my long weekend to Valmoral. I know exactly what I'm taking so it won't be too much fuss - I just need to get into the loft to retrieve the ski gear I put away after the last trip, I didn't anticipate getting away again, so it's been a nice surprise.
David and I like to take a packed lunch picnic with us for the drive down, so I'll be making rolls the night before and packing a few treats to enjoy on the drive. I'm also going to take a flask of coffee to have on the Eurotunnel crossing, save getting something on the train, although we'll have rest stops as we go so will get fresh drinks and any snacks there.
It's the beginning of the month, so time to share my looks from last month with you.
Welcome to my March Review.
Talking of coffee, at the start of March I shared a new gilet with you and wore a latte inspired outfit to run some chores. Do pop back for a quick read about my look - it's one I feel at home in and wear quite often.
Jeans, cosy knit and boots on the agenda next. I showed off these excellent fur lined boots with you and literally have been wearing them all the time at home. They keep my feet ever-so-warm, and look a picture too. I like the jeans tucked into my boots effect and love the relaxed vibe they show. Do pop back to read all about my gifted boots and how the outfit came about.
I'm smitten with the next look. I'd bought the beige suit a while back and although I have so many ideas for it, wanted to pair my new orange shoes with it. I managed to get this pretty top that has orange swirls over it and hey presto the look came to life. X
I shared a perfect fit from Alice + Olivia next. It's a new to me product and was good to learn more about them. One company I'm very familiar with is Salamander Shirts and was pleased to share this pewter grey top and faux leather skirt with you. This is a fabulous outfit to wear and serves the purpose of lunch date out with friends or a trip to the shops or cinema.
I've one wedding this year and it's in June, so I've been having a look every now and then to see what's around. I was taken by this bright green dress on the Debenhams website so popped it into my basket along with the dress I published at the end of March (see below ↓↓↓). Do have a look and let me know what you think, what would you have picked ... green or rose pink?
Let's talk about one of my favourite subjects next .. chocolate. I was lucky to have received another pair of boots from Hotter shoes and decided on these delicious dark chocolate suede boots. Have a peek at the post and see if it doesn't make you think about hot chocolate too! Lol.
Style not Age shared my prompt last month and I was pleased how different they all looked. The title of Denim, but not Jeans, proved a bit of a headache for some, but eventually all my ladies took the reigns & looked amazing in what they'd found. Do pop back to see what they all went for.

I'd had this denim skirt in mind for a while and managed to find it, do come see where it's from!
Finally, for the last post in March, I shared this dress with you. I found this 'bargain' for £10 on the Debenhams website. It's from Nasty Gal and looked smashing on the page. Alas when it arrived, although a super pretty rose pink, which would have been just right for the June wedding, had way too much material in the skirt and with long sleeves and a thicker than I'd like fabric it had to be retuned. I just wanted you all to see it and let me know your thoughts! Do pop a comment in the box below, I'd love to know what you think.
Thanks to each and everyone of you for joining me on Mummabstylish today, so pleased and lucky to have you. Don't forget to join me on Thursday for the linkup.
Cheerio for now. X
Another month of gorgeous outfits, Jacqui! I really like that top you got from Alice + Olivia...love those swirls and colors!
