Regatta Waterproof Jacket and Graphic T - Shirt.

Hi there.
All okay with you?

If things have gone to plan, this post will publish and I'll be travelling home from my long weekend in The Alps.
David and I managed to squeeze a weekend away skiing using up an old Eurotunnel ticket that was to be used before lock-down.  Does anyone else wonder just how we managed to lock ourselves away from our family and friends for so long!  Horrible wasn't it and one I don't ever want to do again.

So back to the matter in hand.  As I said I've planned this post in advance and have resorted to taking photos in my dressing room again as the weather has either been wet or windy, or both.  We've had the odd day of sun albeit very chilly but I neglected to take advantage of it and when I did it was mid sun and not very flattering.

The week before I left for my little holiday I spent a fun afternoon taking some photos.  To be fair this outfit could have been shot outside as the Blakesleigh jacket* I'm sharing is waterproof, so perfect for wet and windy weather that we often encounter!

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

When the weather is wet but still warm (hopefully soon) all that's needed is a comfortable and breathable coat, something that keeps the rain out, but doesn't make you hot and sweaty.  Regatta have just the right coats and jackets to suit everyone.  I've been needing a new waterproof when I'm heading off to the gym, so this is going to serve me very well.

I picked the shade of sesame and there's 6 other super colours to choose from, I really like the glimpse of navy stripes on the inside of the hood - it's jersey lined and gives that extra protection from the elements.  I often pull up my hood when I'm walking back from the gym, especially if I've been a sweaty betty there, I don't want to get a chill - tell me am I getting old ... lol!
You can save 30% now and bag a brilliant purse friendly bargain for the super price of £69.95 and sizes range from 8 - 26, and I must add fit true to size!

I've paired the jacket over jeans and this also gifted T shirt.  It's a quick drying recycled fabric which is actually made from plastic bottles, isn't that amazing!  I'm embracing the pink T and love how smooth and comfy it feels on.  The Fingal VII top* is available in 11 other colourways, all bright and cheerful which will brighten up the darkest walk.
You'll be pleased to hear there's also 30% off the T - shirt making it an affordable bargain at just over £15 - why not get another one or three for that price. 💷

Many thanks for all you help and support on the blog.  Blogging is such a good way to connect with other like minded people and I love to hear from you all.
Have a super week, I'll catch up with you on Thursday and I'll let you know how my trip to France went.
Bye, bye. X

  2. Jacqui, I hope your weekend was wonderful and refreshing! I don't need a new waterproof coat at the moment, but this would definitely be on my radar! I do believe I've talked the husband into coming to the UK this fall! So, maybe I'll be needing one then!! Take care and have a fabulous week!

  5. I have way too many jackets and coats for our warm weather. But spring mornings are definitely when I get to wear those light layers the most.
Love the color of your graphic tee!

  6. Love this raincoat, Jacqui. I need a new one as I got caught in the pouring rain this morning on our dog walks. Great colour too.
