Tilletts Clothing Jogger Set - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Morning my friends.
Hope you're all great and enjoying the month of July.

The weather here in the UK has been very strange. Still quite hot most of the time, but with thunderstorms and rain to contend with what to wear has become quite a conundrum. I even put on a jogger suit the other day as the rain had dropped the temperatures and it felt quite chilly!
We have a big family party on Saturday in my mum's garden, so I hope the weather plays nicely and stays dry for us all, or it's going to a big squeeze in her house!  Mum tries to have a get together every year, but that doesn't always work, but this year most of us will be there to enjoy lots of lovely food (we all take a dish) plenty of drinks and fun times with the kids.  She's got some giant outdoor games, like connect 4, and snakes and ladders which will keep them entertained, but when they are all together, they seem to play their own games so everyone is chilled and has fun.

I haven't got any plans for Sunday, I just would really like to get in the garden and have a nice BBQ, I've not had one this year and my garden furniture hasn't had the chance to shine this year.  I want to feel the sun on my legs so I can get a bit of a tan.  In past years I had a few sessions on the sunbed early in the year, but with no holidays to get ready for this year I haven't bothered.  My legs are an embarrassing pasty white, and I've been meaning to get the fake tan on, but for various reasons that hasn't happened either!  Do you fake tan, or do you get a lovely golden glow naturally in the sun?  If it's the latter, like David I'm extremely jealous! Lol.  I'll let you know on Monday if the BBQ happens.

Today I figured I’d show you the aforementioned jogger set I’d been kindly gifted by Tilletts Clothing. You may remember some of their other items I was also gifted like these fabulous pearl embellished jeans, this Barbie pink bag and my snuggly gillet.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Do you wear joggers or are they banished to just being worn indoors?  For me it depends on the style and how they look.  This latest set are just the right cut and style for me, with the tapered leg and elastic waist the bottoms fit me beautifully.  The short sleeve top fits well too and I decided to half tuck the top in, half the front in and the rest hanging out.  The little tie is just for show, which is a great little touch.  I also love the shorter sleeve, making it a good option for cooler Summer weather when a full on tracksuit would be way too much.  The V neckline also brings a more stylish but still casual look, but the best bit is the pockets, I have a real penchant for pockets - so many of my favourite pieces have pockets and it just feels natural to sling my hands in them whilst going about my business.

The Verity jogger * set fits well, I'm wearing a small/medium which, lengthwise finishes on my ankle, I'm liking this on me, however I've seen taller ladies wearing this too and the finished length on them is on the calve - which also looks great, so don't fear if you are short or tall - this one will look fabulous on you too.
I thought navy would be a good shade to see me through Summer and into Autumn when a jacket like my denim faithful would be a suitable addition, however I love the other colours and am tempted to buy another in either the lipstick pink or stone.

Priced at £28, which I must say is an absolute bargain for a two piece jogger set, and if you use my code
MUMMAB20 you will gain an extra 20% off - now isn't that a deal!

I wanted to keep the outfit casual and not look like I'd come from the gym so teamed it with my silver flip flops.  It just so happened that I also had a little silver bag, so that came out to play too - the only other addition was silver jewellery,  I bought this cheap necklace a few weeks ago to see whether I'd like it or not, I do ... so guess what will be on my Christmas list ... ha ha ha! Tell me I'm not the only sad person who's got a Christmas present list already! 😅😏

  1. I do love to wear joggers but still haven't found a good pair. But yours look pretty good! I wanted to bbq this Sunday but it's predicted rain all day, boring. I don't take tan, but I could use some sun on my skin. Enjoy your Saturday!

  3. I think the rules about what can you wear indoor or outdoor have been lifted. It is what you look good in that counts and you look great in this outfit, Jacquie :)

  6. I haven't worn my joggers as much this summer but I also haven't hiked much which is usually when I wear them the most. I love this set which kind of looks like a jumpsuit. It looks really comfortable.

  8. Lovely casual two piece - I thought it was a jumpsuit as first. I wear joggers a lot when I'm not at work...well actually I sometimes wear them to work too! The weather has been very disappointing for July - today is the best day of the week and I'm at work...typical!

  10. I love the look of joggers, but I think my legs must be too short because I look terrible in them! My legs are pasty white, too! They will tan naturally above the knee but not below. So, I don't try to tan them at all. I'd rather they were just one color! Thanks for the link party!
