Reviewing the Current Body Skin Radio Frequency Device - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Morning everyone,
So pleased you joined me today.

I've got something very special to share with you.

Are you looking for natural ways to improve your facial appearance?  Then take a peak below as I'm sharing the Current Body RF Skin Tightening Device recommended by the likes of Lisa Snowdon and Kim Kardashian & is Loved by Marie Claire and Hello Magazine!

My week has been fairly quiet with not much to report. My usual gym classes have gone well, although yesterday my normal BLT workout was cancelled just as we finished the warm up. A class member took a tumble and badly injured herself - needing an ambulance and trip to hospital. I fear she may have broken something as she went down with a big thud. We were ushered out of the studio and offer a substitute class which was Body Jam.
It’s quite a dance-y one which I loved, I didn’t do too bad to be fair considering I didn’t know any of the routines!
I might try it again as it certainly pushed me in a different direction and I felt exhausted, but in a nice way!

Did I tell you I bought two new pairs of trousers? One from Primark which are khaki green ( they look fab on and I’ll share them next week), the second are grey peg style (bang on style for this season) and look super on - they are tailored pair and the fabric is very expensive looking much more so than the £22.50 they cost!! Do stop by next week for full details.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me & this is a sponsored post.

So pleased you stopped over today, let me know your thoughts on beauty products, permanent surgery, fillers and botox.
I'm a firm believer of growing old gracefully and have never had any permanent beauty treatments, I've had semi-permanent makeup though!
Maybe I'm a bit of a coward but going under the knife scares the shit out of me, I might be the one who it goes wrong for and ends up looking worse than I started ..lol.  With that being said the only treatment I could be swayed over is Blepharoplasty (droopy eye lid removal), but I'm not sure I'd ever go through with it for the above reasons.  So I'm always on the lookout for creams, potions and devices that will help out without going to extremes.

I was delighted and very curious when I was asked to review the Current Body Skin RF Device* a month or so ago.  I've been getting used to it over the past few weeks and have been impressed with the results!

Quoting from Current Body RF let me tell you how it works.

Professional Radio Frequency at Home.

Bipolar radio frequency waves pass through the skin from one pole to another, penetrating the deeper layers of the skin where collagen is formed.
When the skin resists these waves, it heats up, resulting in better circulation and immediate collagen production.
For this process to be activated, the skin must remain at a steady 40 to 43°.
Everyone's resistance can vary, which makes achieving a constant temperature a challenge.  Current Body Skin RF Frequency Skin Tightening Device uses Skin Sense Technology (TM) every 0.0004 seconds to safely deliver the most effective energy best suited to your resistance level.
This never-before-seen technology also has the ability to safely deliver the highest temperature of 43°for an entire treatment.

I started using the device a couple of weeks ago and over the first few days worked on certain areas.  Now I'm confident with it I'll be using it every 4 weeks in one relaxing session, as it's easy to use following a set routine I worked out and felt happy with:
  • Forehead
  • Brows 11 lines
  • Crows Feet
  • Cheeks
  • Above the lips
  • Chin
  • Lifted Jaw Line
  • Neck Sculpt

What you can expect to gain from using the hand held RF device:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles reduced.
  • Skin with become tighter and firmer.
  • Increased brightness and radiance.
  • Target saggy skin

How to use.

  • Remove all jewellery from the area to be treated, then apply a liberal layer of gel to the clean and dry area.
  • Plug in the device and turn it on, select the energy level and then touch the skin with your device.
  • When the green light starts blinking, you can move the device slowly over the area to be treated.
  • After 5 minutes the light will turn orange showing it's time to move to the next area.
  • Once all areas are completed rinse any excess gel off and continue with you usual skincare routine.

My Tip!

Use once a week for 8 weeks, then every 4 - 8 weeks for top up treatments to maintain long term results.

So as you know I've been using the device for a few weeks now and have really noticed a difference in the face and neck.  It's noticeably firmer and plumper and feels very soft to touch.  Makeup application is better too, I can get a more even and fresh look and my skin looks, dare I say radiant.

Once you smooth the gel on your face and neck you can plug in and get started.  The green light comes on once it’s turned on, which then flashes upon connection with the skin.  You use either circular motions, backwards and forwards or up and down, depending on what area is being treated, you can literally feel the electrodes warm up the area the device is touching.  Once five minutes is completed the light turns amber, notifying you to move onto the next position.  Now I know what I'm doing it's lovely to lay back and relax after a bath and enjoy the luxurious home facial!

Use small circular movements on the 11 area.

Use up and down motions on the neck, but avoid treatment in the lower third of the neck since this area is more sensitive and also avoid treating thyroid section.

The smile folds need up and down movements too, five minutes works wonders!

Crow's feet are a particular problem area for me, so I've been delighted to see them less visible and plumper. Small circular motions are recommended here too.

You can see for yourself the impressive results from using the device, there’s noticeable improvement showing plumper and firmer skin.

This is going to be the perfect gadget to use prior to a special occasion when you want to look your absolute best, and the beauty of having this at your fingertips means you can fit in a little treatment just when you want. It comes with its own little drawstring bag, meaning you can pop it in your suitcase for a luxurious mini facial when you’re away!

The initial outlay of just under £300 maybe slightly more than you would like to pay, however considering you will use it at home at your own convenience and with the cost of some salon facials around the £100 mark (the last one I had was £79) I think it's an absolute steal! Pop it on your Christmas list and you wont be disappointed.

  2. Always interested in this type of review. Your "real" photos are more convincing than the brand's before and after, which has different lighting suggesting retouching. Looks like you're getting good results x

  4. Jacqui this looks amazing, I’d 100% buy one if I could afford it as I love gadgets like this - I’m all for trying everything! I did have subtle botox until a couple of years ago but again, finances don’t allow sadly… oh and my sister recently had Blepharoplasty on one eye that was much droopier than the other: she’s super pleased with it. Not sure I could have someone come near my eyes with a knife though, eep!!

Great post, thanks for all the info

    1. Yes they are a bit up there price wise, but totally worth it especially with what I paid for a recent facial at the salon! I do fancy the eye surgery, but am a total coward! Thanks for stopping by, the linkup is now live if you fancy joining. x

  11. This looks fantastic! And only once a week is easy to fit in to a busy schedule. I'm not squeamish about needles or surgery so if I wanted/could afford it I'd have it! I had to have my eyelid stitched back together when I was seven (nasty accident with a pony) so I suppose that's a bit like Blepharoplasty!
