September Review.

Hi there,
How are you?

Another month has passed and we edge ever nearer to Christmas, the shops have festive bits in them already.
The weather has played fair and been fairly dry over the past few days, which means it's been easier to take photos.  I'm trying to summon up lots of confidence so I can go further afield to take shots in some different places - I don't want you to get bored of my usual surroundings.  I have about three basic areas, plus the garden (which isn't very pretty) to take them, so can you all send me heaps of conviction to take the plunge.  How do you get on taking your pictures?  Do you have a helper or are you blatant and take them when strangers are around and not give a second thought?

So as it's the beginning of October my post today is reminiscing last months looks for the ....

September Review.

First post for the month featured a stylish every day outfit that I feel right at home in.  Wide leg trousers and a blazer looks so chic on and this will be a main staple for me in Autumn, so long as the temperatures play along.

This outfit came about after seeing an Instagram friend wearing similar - do you copy others when you decide what to wear? Do pop back to find out all about my outfit here.

My next look features a marrying of Summer and Autumn resulting in this denim maxi, cold-shoulder look that I felt quite at home in.  The skirt is fairly new and was only about the third time I'd put it on, the top is old, but works well when the weather is warm like it was at the beginning of the month.  To be fair the temperatures aren't that different, but I can certainly tell we're in the new season as the nights are a bit cooler.  Do hop back to read all about my look.

Would you wear this? It was my next blog post look and I loved wafting around in these delicious trousers.  The loafers made the look a tad more casual so it was nice for a trip to the shops.  Do let me know your thoughts on this one my friends, I love to hear back from you. X

My next outfit features Autumnal colours but way of oranges, browns and cream - the shades that reflect the new month beautifully.  I feel right at home in these shades and feel they suit my colourings.
The outfit is a jeans/tunic combo, that never fails to impress me and even better when the shirt is borrowed from my daughter!  Do stop by to checkout all the details.

Jean season has well and truly arrived hasn't it.  I've sorted through a few of mine and chucked a couple out to the charity bin.  I'm thinking of adding a wide leg pair to my collection, but until now haven't seen any suitable.  These are from River Island and you can read about my casual outfit here.

The next post was all about Power Dressing.  This was for the monthly challenge four friends and I set for each other.  Do pop back to read about my pick.  This suit makes me feel enpowered even though I'm only probably going to wear it to the shops ... lol!

The final post features this amazing device from Current Body.  I've been thrilled to use this at home beauty product and have seen noticeable improvements.  Hope you'll take a look, I know you'll be as impressed as I was.

Wow, hasn't it been a busy month?  How did yours go?
So happy you could join me here today, do stop back on Thursday for the #LINKUP
Cheerio for now. X

  1. My husband takes my photos though I'm thinking of getting a tripod so he doesn't have to always do it. I do go out in public sometimes but always wait for everyone to pass by before doing the snaps! The times we've just carried on, nice people always stop and say they'll take a photo of both of us! I should just accept their help and wait for them to go on to finish!

You had a lovely month of clothing. I especially love that top you borrowed from your daughter!
