What’s happening in your world?

Mine is going well thanks for asking (I’m assuming you did) lol! I’ve been having fun getting back into the blogging and Instagram game recently and again as you might remember the main reason is photos. I’ve been taking full advantage of nice weather outside or my dressing room to get some super shots - todays included. So do let me know what you think. 

Todays outfit has been in the pipeline for a couple of weeks & I’ve been telling you it’s “on its way” for a while and hooray it’s here …. finally.

Well have I got your attention with this stunning cobalt blue maxi?

Isn’t it divine?

I’d been after a cobalt blue dress since receiving these divine shoes and matching bag. So set about looking for one. As you know actual shop shopping isn’t really working for me now (please come back you lovely shops), so I searched online and found this beauty on the ASOS site. I’ve bought plenty from them in the past and although sometimes they don’t have the best quality, this turned out to be rather nice.  

So let me tell you a bit about this striking dress. I was a little worried about the slit, I thought it might be a bit too high, but turns out it’s an acceptable opening, flashing leg and a small amount of thigh! It’s got cute buttons above this to add that bit extra.  It’s got balloon sleeves which finish 3/4 down the arm and although has a high neck has a sexy back opening running from the neck fastening to the waist. I chickened out and got my daughter to put a safety pin where my bra went across. 😉

As I said above I picked the dress to go with both bag and shoes, I’ve been kindly gifted these by Lotus Shoes and couldn’t be happier with them! 

This cross over style is one I often go for as it’s very comfortable to wear, it’s very supportive and I could quite honestly wear them all evening and even dance in them. 

There was no dancing at Reads restaurant for my mum’s birthday dinner, but wearing them all night was still perfect!

I used to always have matching shoes and bag, but over the past few years of blogging I’ve become more open minded and wear mixed tones, textures and detailing. 

The Leona court shoe * is a stunning shade of blue sapphire. It’s got pretty diamanté studs over the front that sparkle beautifully and are perfect for the festive period. 

The matching clutch bag is equally as delicious my friends. It’s got a thin chain attached and a gold clasp. It’s also covered in the same sparkling diamanté studs.  It’s just big enough for party essentials. 💙 Add the Mirabel to you basket along with the sparkly shoes, they’re both just what you need for the festive season that’s just around the corner. 

Here’s a couple from the night out celebrating my mum’ s 90th! Twenty three of us had a delicious three course meal with wine and fizz.  I picked chicken liver parfait, followed by steak in a red wine jus with seasonal vegetables. I finished the dinner with a raspberry soufflé which was one of the best things I’ve tasted. Utterly delicious - can I go again please! 🙏
