Hello my friends and welcome to the blog today.
How's your world going?
I’ve had a bit of a cough going on, you know the ones that don’t come to much but are really annoying! I’ve still been to the gym, so it’s not that bad at all. I’ve been adding to my Christmas decorations over the past few days and my house is looking very festive I can tell you. I’ve also been buying more baubles, but don’t tell the kids! 😂
I’ve also done a bit of shopping, online and in store. I’ve found an elegant cream tweed jacket in F & F (featured today) and it’s a dreamy one for sure. Another purchase was an additional slip skirt (I’ve a blush cream to share soon) which is black and is going to be a versatile little skirt for dressy and casual outings alike. My favourite purchase though was a stunningly sparkly pair of black sequined leggings, I’ve got plans for them for a couple of Christmas evening outfits, I’m so excited to wear them and have been tempted to just pop them on indoors for bit of fun and excitement - who else does this?
Here’s that blazer I was telling you about, looks very chic & made me feel like I was wearing a Chanel beauty.
So I’ve been on the lookout for this style and colour of jacket for a while. A cream classic will go with so many outfits from casual jeans to formal classic outfits and I’m going to enjoy every minute of wearing it. I picked it up in F & F whilst the 25% off offer was on. Lucky me when I reached the till and found I’d got a voucher to get another £4 off if I used my Clubcard! It’s nice to get money off especially when you’re not expecting it eh!
I popped this stylish long sleeve blouse under it. It’s a thicker almost silky fabric and has a nice v neckline which is crossed over onto a thick stretchy band. The cuff fastens with pretty buttons that make the top look more expensive than it was. It’s an oldie and has been in my wardrobe for a good few years but washes and wears so well it still looks like new.
Did you notice my trousers? I’ve had a lot of love for these and have to admit to them being a bit small for me!
I bought them after losing weight and couldn’t bring myself to get rid of them when I got bigger. I’m ever hopeful of losing the extra pounds and fitting into them again with ease - don’t hold your breath … lol ! Anyway they’re a bold snake-print design and with that being back on trend now, would be a popular addition to your own collection, is this something you’d wear?
I added my gorgeous slingback heels which have a feminine pointed toe and are vegan leather. They have to be one of the comfiest pairs of shoes I own, well ‘heeled’ styles that is, they are really soft and almost mould to my feet! I’ve got them in black as well, but I’d be lovely if they were available in brighter colours like red or pink or maybe follow the metallic trend. 🩶 ⭐️ Talking of shiny accents I added this super fun bag into the equation. It’s a shiny bronze shade and is a fold-over clutch style bag with tassels attached to the zip. If you’re wanting to join the shiny trend, bags or shoes are a cheaper and less flamboyant way to embrace it, although have you seen silver trousers around? I want a pair, but not sure what they’ll look like on me!
