Morning everyone.
How are you?
Hasn’t it been cold! I’m not really a Winter person unless I’m skiing so the recent cold snap has been awful! I’ve been taking full advantage of this padded maxi coat at every opportunity. It’s so warm and cosy and it’s still available so if you’re in need of a suitable coat for this season I’d definitely recommend this one!
Dry January is going well as is the calorie counting. Both have actually been quite good and I’m pleased to say I’ve stuck to them! Yay! 🥳 It’s been easier because all the family are committed which has made dinners so much easier, we’ve all been contributing to the menus and have been planning the meals in advance. It’s not been hard at all and if I feel hungry I grab a glass of water. Calorie counting is more about what you can have rather than what you can’t like lots of diets, so long as you include ALL what you eat (I have an app to keep a track of everything). I’ve been having chocolate, crisps and bread along with Nozeco which is a delicious alternative to my favourite tipple - Prosecco. 🍾 So wish me luck with this and hopefully you’ll be able to see the results for yourself soon. 😁
New Year’s Eve seems a long time ago and I neglected to share my dress with you, which is just as well because you’ve seen it before. Today I thought I’d share what was a possibility for the occasion - a very fitted purple dress from Jenerique that I’ve got other ideas for. 😉
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
I love to dress up for special occasions and NYE is definitely a special occasion isn’t it. Even if I’d not been going out I would still get dressed up, it’s just in my nature.
This would have been the perfect dress but I wanted to save it for an upcoming dinner at my favourite restaurant in a few weeks time (it’s for my mum’s Christmas present I’m taking her to Reads where we went for her 90th)
Let’s talk about this fitted midi dress, aren’t they just the most flattering style, I tend to only wear this length dress as it suits my shape. I’d love to wear mini’s but tbh don’t have the legs! lol!
The Allure Tory * is a striking colour, which is a regal purple that’s similar to magenta pink & it’s stunning. It’s a fitted style that has shapely drape effect running down the front which finishes at the top of a deep slit. The ruched effect gives the dress a feminine shape and the v neckline and shoulder pads add elegance and finesse.
I love the fabric, it’s a soft and stretchy jersey that feels good on and fits in the right places and certainly does show your figure off - I definitely needed the right underwear and this style worked a treat! Choose your usual size as they run true which is always helpful.
Grab yourself a hot number for a cool £40!
There’s a huge amount of similar styles on the website, some with sparkles and some with patterns so you’re sure to find ‘the one’ for that special event. 💕
I added my No1 boots to the look. These long ecru boots are the softest leather and even though the heel is rather high they’re still very comfortable. I added them to my collection a while back and have worn them to compliment so many outfits, they really are a versatile colour to wear. 🤍
